This could be because I do have a very developed palate, but they're pasta lacked salt and the sauce lacked seasoning period...canned tomato sauce with a little basil doesn't cut it. Rao's would be a better choice than this. The ravioli was gummy and borderline inedible. Frozen meatballs and mediocre Italian sausage. Saving grace was the soft bread stick, though those are bought as well. Not sure I'll be back.

Authentic recipes passed down from generations! Cheese/Raisin Ravioli is something you should get to go for meals at home.

Have not eaten here since I was a kid. Ordered online for a 7:10pm pick up. Didn't get my food until 7:27. Got home, opened my spaghetti with meat sauce and it had a big chunk of meat on top that was brown on one side and raw on the other. Rest of the meat was crunchy (over cooked). The sauce was good but wouldn't order again with meat. Pizza was underwhelming, a little bit of sauce with too much cheese and not enough pepperoni. Staff was nice and they weren't understaffed. Place was clean.

Reserved appr 40 seats for a family gathering following my parents' burial. The tables were ready, the staff was ready - the service was great and the food was fantastic! We had a partial wall separating our group in two, which made it difficult to converse and see everyone, but everything else was outstanding.

I am disappointed with the changes , since the new management. The ravioli used to be the best in the state , maybe even the country . Now the chicken and cheese has no chicken and it is gooey. There’s so much sauce it was running off of the plate. I understand saving money , but not at the expense of quality !

Best Italian food in northwest WI! Grew up going here and so happy to see it thriving and back under the ownership of the original family that started it in 1957! The ravioli is pillowy and delicious (try the cheese and raisin, it’s addicting), Italian sausage and cavatelli are awesome too. They have gluten free options as well. And they have beer and wine now! Great all around nostalgic family restaurant, Bona is an absolute must visit when in the area!!

I'm rating just on the cheese & raisin ravioli. I purchased frozen to cook at home. They are SO good!

The owners really bring that 'family-owned' feel-if the family hated each other and didn't know how to run a restaurant. And not only that, the chef disrespected a waitress in front of all her coworkers. Family owned business at its finest.
Me and my family love coming here. I love there chicken Ravioli and my family loves the chicken and Raisin ravioli I personally don't like that but the caviltiles or however you spell it I love them. The sausage instead of sausage give me pasta, white sauce instead of red sauce indeed, and most of all the breadsticks delicious. 5 STARS!
Always a treat when visiting western Wisconsin
