I still find it difficult to remember the "Webb Lake Tavern" as such, an old brand name still rings in my brain, call me OG, I guess. We came in on Friday night of Labor Day weekend. There was a wait to get a table but we were seated within 15 minutes. I had a burger and tater tots, the wife had the Friday night fish special. Both were excellent. Server was excellent.
Amazing fish fry - generous portions. Definitely order the au gratin potatoes!! Everything is made fresh with fresh ingredients - fish is not cooked ahead of time and kept warm like some places. My husband had the walleye salad - fresh greens with cooked potatoes and green beans. The dressing was yummy!! Be prepared - they were busy all night but worth the wait!
