We went on a Sunday for lunch. There was only one poor young lady working behind the bar and taking food orders and one cook. We ordered wraps and cheeses curds. You could tell the wraps were premade and once frozen. They were hard and chewy. The cheese curds weren’t cooked all the way through. We couldn’t eat them. The waitress was so sweet, obviously overwhelmed, and kept apologizing. It wasn’t her fault but management needs to take another look at how they cover shifts. I won’t eat there again unfortunately.

I am extremely disappointed in the food tonight. Asked for medium bacon cheeseburger, regular cheese curds instead of fries and got a well done burger and fried breaded air puffs. My husband got a mushroom Swiss burger and while had what I asked for on it, asked for medium rare and his was well done as well. Cheese curds were breaded air puffs too. Sad thing is we have said nothing but great things for them, recommending to friends and family. Tonight we decided to splurge and get something nice after the downtown trick or treating. This is definitely not worth the $34 I paid for it. Hopefully cook gets figured out because I have a feeling we aren't the only ones who think this.

This place has gone way downhill. Service is good but the food was not good. Ordered a fresh dip that seemed like the meat was frozen and microwaved and thrown in a bun. Not fresh at all. I chose macaroni and cheese for the side, its literally box Kraft Mac & cheese once again from the microwave. What hapoened? EDIT: They've got one poor person working here at lunch rush cooking, serving, and tending...?? Waited 35 minutes for my check after making this review.

Went in for lunch today. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with cheese curds. The chicken was so tough, I couldn't bite through it and it certainly wasn't grilled. The cheese curds were over cooked and only 2 curds actually had a trace of cheese inside. They were so bad that when I squeezed one, it burst and was just the crisp coating, no cheese. There were only 2 that had cheese in them.

This place is going down hill it seems, we moved to the area 4 months ago and it was a solid place with good portions but this last month or so we’ve gone a few times and Prices are rising and quality is going down. Previously I had the French dip and the au ju was clear and tasted like water mixed with broth and I could tell the meat was reheated from frozen. We decided to try it again, and it was disappointing. The pricing needs review I got the bubba burger which is a fully loaded double burger with bacon listed at 14.99 and my wife got the regular burger which is listed at 9.99 then she got cheese lettuce tomato and mayo and it cost an extra 2.50 for that so my burger was 2 dollars more and I got an extra patty and bacon, onions and special sauce. To Upgrade to Fries from chips it’s an extra $2.50 for every meal so we decided to get a basket of fries to share and it was the same amount of fries as a typical side would be but cost $5. I understand everything is getting more expensive but this is not the way to run a business. The burgers were good enough but The food is just not fresh, the prices are getting higher and portions getting smaller. We are willing to pay inflated prices for good food but high prices and mediocre food is not it. I hope things get better but we won’t be back for awhile.

The fish fry used to be amazing here. It appears ownership or chefs have since changed. I got two tiny pieces of overcooked and leathery cod. Would have left a lower rating but at least the staff was really friendly. Hopefully the quality will improve, Deerfield needs a good restaurant.

We stopped after a trip to Little Amerikka. Service was great. Food was good but not great. They really like the seasoning and salt on the fries and tater tots. Wings were great - Big and tasty. Cooked perfect. Ribeye Sandwich special didn't show cheese but came with cheese. A little chewy. Burger was good but nothing special.

We went for a Friday night fish fry. The noise level was low considering we were in a bar. We sat at a table rather than the bar itself. We ate early ( just before 5 p.m.). The fries were the stand-out of both our meals. Skinny seasoned fries, and an appreciable portion. My companion had beer battered cod and shrimp. He disliked the heavy batter on the shrimp, and both shrimp and cod were saturated with too much grease. I had beer battered Walleye which was also greasy. I would go again and order fries as an appetizer; they were superb. But we won't be going back for a fish fry anytime soon. The service was excellent and we had no wait time.
Fantastic fish fry. Both grilled and fried options were great. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Very much worth a visit.

We’ve had food here a few times now and it’s been very good. Cheese curds are great as well as the house made ranch. I did find the buffalo chicken wrap very salty but it often is with the hot sauce. I’d recommend to maybe add ranch to it to cut the salt. We love the fish fry, both had the 3 piece beer battered cod. Only complaint was that I was charged $1 extra for fries when it said it was included on the menu. We asked the waitress and she said they were indeed extra, which was odd as the tater tots my girlfriend had were not. I assume an outdated menu that hopefully gets changed. Not good practice to charge more than what the menu states. Still 5 stars but wanted to mention that.
