My friend and I were coming back from a bikepacking trip on the nearby bike trail, and this little pub gave us everything we wanted.Jalapeno poppers, mac & cheese bites, and fried cod were all delicious!Tasty food, cool and cozy decor, and very friendly staff. We had a great chat with the locals and with bartender/server/cook/bar owner Kim and her husband Tim. Very welcoming and friendly bunch here, check them out when you're in town!”

“In Stoughton to do some shopping and wife mentioned breakfast when passing the Koffee Kup. Since it had been sometime having been here., sounded good. Service and food were outstanding as the last time. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Our entire breakfast (note picture) with coffee (comes in carafe) was under $25. Specials of the day are written on a chalkboard located on the back wall. Be sure and check it before looking at the printed menu. The special on the day we were there was BBQ ribs and we visited later that day is what would have been in front of me. They have wine, beer and alcohol to serve with your dinner.”

“If you’re looking for a legit bbq place that isn’t a big chain, this is the place for you! The chicken was juicy, the brisket had a beautiful smoke ring and was nice and tender. Hot links were right on point! If you haven’t visited Primal Cue, you need to put this on your list and get in there.”

“I ordered on line and didn’t get the confirmation email. I called the store and they had the order as pick up the person answering my was quick to be able to change my order. I was not able to get a confirmation for delivery time… but short after what would have been pick up, my delivery driver was here! I was not expecting so soon but he was so friendly and wanted to be sure I had my food! Every single order from Sal’s… all the staff are so wonderful! Amazing kindness!”

“Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning so the cafe was quite busy. The waitstaff was excellent and I received my order probably 3 minutes after ordering. I had the country fried steak and eggs. The food was hot and everything was cooked to perfection. Will absolutely be stopping back when traveling through Waterloo.”

“This is a great stop on the Dane County snowmobiling trails. It’s a fairly short ride coming from Utica Bar and you can hook back into Cambridge for fuel if needed. Large bar area with plenty of tables and seating. Didn’t have food on our stop but they do have a kitchen/grill. Bathrooms have multiple stalls, with one handicap if you have all of your gear on.”

“Stop stopped in for lunch. I had the Swiss burger. The staff was excellent. Overall experience was great. The other items on the menu will definitely be back to try something different. Or maybe just stick to what’s good. Glad we stopped in. Will definitely be back.”
