The Delafield American Legion is your home away from home. Friendly atmosphere, you always leave making new friends. They offer food, drinks, and have a hall available to rent for special events. The patrons and staff are very friendly. We have spent quite a few days hanging out here, as well as been to a few events put on by The American Legion. Good place to spend time and make a few new friends when in town.

I was in town for a training over the weekend and was told about the Friday Fish Fry at the American Legion. I am a Legion member and decided to check it out. You will get no better service, atmosphere, food, or drink! This post made me feel right at home for the entire evening made me glad I stopped in and gave me pride in that veteran community! They are an open post so anyone can partake, but do not miss out on this great gem!!!!

First time trying the fish fry and we were very surprised. It's iconic vintage atmosphere all the way, like stepping into the 1960's. All the regulars, everyone says hi, it's charming. We got the two piece and three piece fried cod, carried it out, $30. The servings were large, perfectly cooked with a very light, flaky, crispy coating, with fries, rye bread, creamy coleslaw, and tartar sauce.
