Usually Jonathan's is an easy 5 star but you're only as good as your last dish. Previously, Jonathan cooked the meal and immediately I could tell that my dish was sous chef prepared. The fish was overcooked, dry w/out much flavor and the vegetables were decimated,The dish was sloppily presented. I was very disappointed. The bread was excellent as was the carrot cake. The quality standards have declined.

This place is a must attend. This was our 2nd time here. We chose this place to celebrate my wife's birthday. It didn't disappoint. Our waiter was Bud and he was phenomenal!!! He made the evening a lot of fun. We live about an hour away and it's well worth the drive. Definitely recommend making a reservation a few days ahead of time. The Key Lime pie rivals the several I've had in the Florida Keys. You can't go wrong with the Grouper. It's so good.

Wife asked for a destination restaurant to celebrate our 52nd anniversary. After perusing Wisconsin, I chose Jonathan's on Brick Street. I wasn't expecting much. Just someplace nice with good food. We were pleasantly surprised at what we found. A neat but unassuming restaurant from the outside and a gem on the inside. A great place that others have discovered too. The staff were welcoming, efficient and professional. Virtues missing in many restaurants today. Our waiter, Bud, was super friendly and really knew his restaurants capabilities. His recommendations were honest and proved helpful. His eyes were always watching what was needed before us needing something and he definitely wanted us to like what was served. The kitchen didn't let him or us down. We did the whole nine yards. Appetizers, Entrees, Soup, Drinks (Bartender makes a great wisconsin style brandy old fashioned) and Desserts. Thank you Jonathan and Bud for giving us one of the best wedding anniversary celebrations we remember!..........Dan and Mary Mueller

Menu is large with lots of options and specials. They might want to cut it down to increase efficiency in the kitchen. We waited way too long for food. Kitchen seems backed up during busy season. Will give it another try in off season.

Excellent restaurant and service! Food was delicious! Staff shared an amazing story of how Jonathan treated his staff and took the staff to Mexico to celebrate the success of 5 years! Amazing testimony to staff appreciation and gratitude❤️Definitely will be back and thank you for a tremendous dinner!!

OMG I grew up 10 minutes away from New York City. I've eaten at the finest restaurants in New York, and this was easily the best food I have ever had! 20 out of 10

Five stars is not enough to rate Jonathan’s. We made a reservation in celebration of our 25th anniversary without ever having been there - only relying on what we could find online. I have to say that this place far exceeded any expectations that I had of what a wonderful meal should be like. The service was amazing, wine selection was outstanding, and words can’t describe how incredible the food was. From the apple salad to the French onion soup to my steak - everything was perfect. If it wasn’t a 3 hr drive to come back from my home, I would eat there all the time. But hey, Jonathan’s just gave me a reason to come back to Lake Geneva. Thank you to everyone there for making our anniversary meal perfect. You deserve the praise

Izabella was our waitress. As soon as we sat at the table, she was very attentive. She had some wonderful suggestions for appetizers and entrées. She was very friendly and nice.
