Wisconsin Supper Club is a Midwest thing and here is the definition, the bench mark, the classic place to experience what brings generations back to the back roads beyond the paths of tourist. Start with the Wisconsin Old Fashioned whether sweet or sour and on to the relish tray. Service is complimentary yet guides the experience. Yet Dinner conversation is the purpose among family and friends but save time and appetite for Brandy Ice.

Parking: Near entrance.

Not what it used to be at all. Our server lacked knowledge about how to even serve a table. It was quite despicable for the price we paid. Could have received more attentive service at a lesser establishment. Very underwhelming. Please spend your money elsewhere as these people really don't care anymore. What a shame. Also shame on you for those ridiculous prices and bad food

Solid supper club. Some of my party’s meals came out and were not hot. Steaks were cooked to perfect medium rare. Loved the decor. Wisconsin Old Fashion (sweet) was one of the best I’ve had. Service a bit slow but it seems they only had two severs working both dining room, so no fault to them. P.S. never expected to write a review about ranch dressing, but it was SO good!

We come here on special occasions as the food had been great but its an hour drive away. July 18th was my birthday and we came out on that day and ordered food, sorry the review is so late.

I ordered Gorgonzola New York Strip Steak. I asked for medium rare. Our meals came out and I tried the first few bites and the steak was over cooked. Well done. I felt bad but asked the waitress if they could make another one and showed her since this was a $50 steak.

The next one came out.... Over cooked again. This one tasted a bit better. I did mention to her this is medium well. I was so hungry we hadn't eaten in 6 hours.

After the meal when the bill came, I asked her if I could have a small deduction for the steak since it wasn't cooked properly. She said the owner just came in and she can talk to him. If it were my business, as an owner I would have came over to see what was going but apparently wasn't interested. I did get a $10 deduction for the meal, but wont be coming back here again.

Way overpriced. I ordered the up charge baked French onion soup, big disappointment, had 2 tiny pieces of onion, tasted blah. The atmosphere was OK, service was good, food not so much.

Yesterday was our first time at The Duck Inn. We made a reservation (for 2 people) and were seated right away. Our waitress was great but our dining experience was not. We were there for an hour and 45 mins total which is a really long time. Our cups were filthy and had food stuck to them. The appetizers were mediocre at best. For our main courses, we both ordered the half duck which took an hour to come out from the time we ordered. Unfortunately the duck wasn’t even good.. we were fighting to eat it and most of it wasn’t edible. We were both really excited to try this place because we have heard really good things, unfortunately we won’t be back.

We have been coming there for years and never disappointed. Tonite was the 1st. Server and staff didn't seem to care, not friendly. My steak was undercooked and my potato was barely warm, and the duck was not good. No one came to refill our water. We ordered the relish tray which we never got. When we were leaving several staff passed us and never thanked us or even made eye contact, very cold atmosphere. We might give it 1 more try
