We sat outside on a beautiful August evening. While we typically are not fans of live music because it's usually too loud to have a conversation, the entertainment on the patio was not too loud and actually quite soothing. The service was great and the food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

The food was not great. My daughter and I both ordered burgers and neither of us ate the entire thing. My daughter barely ate half. The meat was dry with little flavor. I don't mind that the food isn't cheap but I do when the quality is not there. For six people we paid over $200.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Lookout experience, returning there for a second year for a linkup with my brother and sister-in-law from North Carolina. The food was WONDERFUL - from the nacho appetizer plate (with steak) to the Pineapple Salsa Salmon (that's what my sister-in-law and I had) entrée. We ate outside on a gorgeous night and watched the sailboats on the lake; they almost seemed to be choreographed. After dinner, we walked around the lovely grounds, especially enjoying the flowers. What an excellent night it was!

Visited during the Lake Lawn Lodge - Cars That Time Forgot car show. I had the award winning hamburger and it was delicious. The bartenders were friendly and I’m coming back!

We arrived at 3pm on June 25 and was seated and given menus… waited 15 minutes and no one came to the table… no water… the Wait Staff seemed to be more interested in their phones. We left … and when passing the Host stand, we explained why we were leaving and got Oh sorry about that!

The dome thats advertised isnt available. The staff discouraged people from eating outside on a hot day. There wasnt a hostess and we waited 10 mins to be heated. The restaurant itself is on a resort with little directions on where the restaurant is located on the resort.

Being one of two restaurants located within the resort, being pricy was expected. I went with my partner, we each had one drink, one app each and paid $55 including a 20% tip. I love Lake Lawn. I love the Lookout. The bartender was CRANKY!
