As a local, I've been going here all my life with my family. It's a nice spot to have some drinks and hang out for a few hours. However, I have one recent problem. The owner is never present but instead watches the security cameras from her home as some degenerate form of "working". Now, we are all used to being watched on camera 24/7 in today's world and I wouldn't care normally. But apparently using free drink chips (something that you can win by paying to do shake a day) has become an issue without any patrons being directly told. There is no posted limit to how many you can use or on what drinks. The owner for some reason now has a problem if a customer uses "too many" (unsure the number) and doesn't have the guts to come down to their own bar and express this OR tell their bartenders to limit/how much to fill a drink. I don't admire cowardly people and it really ruins the want to go here with my family, who by the way, has spent a LOT of money over the years just to be disrespected.

I'm from Minneapolis and stopped in after a long motorcycle ride. Service was perfect and the people in the bar were top notch. Very cool small town bar that I will definitely come to again. Thank you for a great night!!

As a sucker for small town dive bars and a recent transplant to Dubuque, I'd been eyeing this little Wisconsin establishment for a bit. It's exactly what you'd look for in the when visiting the Midwest. An attentive bartender, great atmosphere, and excellent conversation. Can definitely recommend!
