Their homemade hot sauce was amazing!! Food was delish and we enjoyed sampling some different tequilas. Be sure to try the espresso drink with the 43 liquor in it after dinner! Superb! 👌

Agave Azul is a popular restaurant in the Northwoods, known for its delicious fajitas and burritos. Visitors appreciate the friendly and attentive service, with staff like Adrianna providing a welcoming experience. The restaurant features authentic handmade and hand-painted furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere complemented by classic Mexican serenades. The flavorful authentic meals are served from a family-run business that cares about providing a great dining experience. The salsa is flavorful, and the homemade hot sauce was highly praised. After dinner, guests can enjoy an espresso drink with 43 liquor, which many found superb. The restaurant offers easy parking on loose gravel, kid-friendly options with booster seats and a kids menu, and wheelchair accessibility with a ramp. The décor includes beautifully crafted art from Mexico, which adds to the authentic feel. The service is prompt and attentive, making it a good place for families and friends to enjoy traditional Mexican food and fun nights out with margaritas. Some reviews noted that the tortillas, salsa, and dishes like Suizo Pastor and Chile Verde are especially good, and the Estrella beer is a nice refreshment. While the atmosphere is generally warm, large parties can be loud, so visitors might want to be seated away from them. Overall, Agave Azul remains a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine, perfect for groups and families, and definitely worth a visit.
