Tried Chef Rene's for the 1st time and would definitely go back. Started with a beer while our table was being prepared. Good beer selection at a very reasonable price. This review is largely based on our experience in the restaurant. If it was based on the bar, it wouldn't be nearly as positive. Our waitress was great. Our food came quickly and was quite tasty. The dining room has a warm vibe but is very loud. I guess I understand what people like about this place but I can't say I'll go back. Our first impression started in the bar and had we not had dinner reservations, that's probably where it would have ended.
