Super disappointed at one of our favorite places! Spent over $80 to come here, brought julias scooter, (which was fully charged) because their website says wheelchair accessible and the tram has a lift. At our first stop when we went to use the tram we were quickly told that it is against the policy to allow electric scooters on the ramp. One lady told us it was a weight limit issue and I said her scooter is only 60 pounds. So a 250 pound guy in a wheelchair can use the ramp /lift but her scooter cant?! make that make sense. We barely made it halfway through when her scooter malfunctioned and stopped working not sure if it was the incline and declines throughout the rough gravel, but Julia was definitely upset at this point and freaking out. We had to put her scooter in neutral and push it all the way back to the front. At the last minute, they told us they would make a one time exception and let us ride the tram back, (after we struggled for 20 minutes pushing up a hill ) which literally was one minute away from the front exit. I asked the guy why they do not allow this. He said it is their policy. I said that it should be stated on the website cause it clearly is not. I would’ve brought Julia’s walker with instead of her scooter if I knew we weren’t allowed to put it on the tram. Do better old world Wisconsin and try to be a little bit more accommodating to children with physical disabilities.
Old world Wisconsin is a great experience but has a lot less hands on experiences than when I went there as a kid. Global kitchen you did not learn about the things listed on the website and they send you to the garden with no directions of what to do and where to go from there. My students had a hard time saying what they learned from this program. I think they used to make butter. Pioneer power was more interactive when making rope, exploring house tools, and hands on experience with pulley and lever in the barn. I believe when I went they had an ox showing simple machines and did races with buckets of water over their shoulders. It has changed a lot. Had interactive learning but not as memorable as I remembered as a kid.
We have been here many times and keep going back! Legends and Lore is our favorite event!
I had an amazing day at Old World Wisconsin. It is very clean, easy access to water on a hot day and the trams are super easy to get around to the different areas on. The interpreters were all very friendly and so knowledgeable! Everyone of them seems like they love their job and it shows. All friendly staff made for a very nice day.
We enjoyed our visit here. It was such a neat and educational place. All the workers were extremely nice.
This is the 3rd time we have been here. It's a different experience every time. We love it! Great for families.

Really nice place and educational. Will definitely come back.
For the admission price it was disappointing.
Such a wonderful place!!! Employees are always friendly and willing to answer my many questions
I haven't been here since 1981, it was great then and looks like it might have gotten better. It is similar to what Silver Dollar City was when it opened in 1960, but it has remained a historical park, representing the many cultures that came to America through a collection of authentic buildings that have been relocated from other areas in Wisconsin. I sure hope they stay this way and never ruin it by becoming an amusement park.
