“Old world Wisconsin is a great experience but has a lot less hands on experiences than when I went there as a kid. Global kitchen you did not learn about the things listed on the website and they send you to the garden with no directions of what to do and where to go from there. My students had a hard time saying what they learned from this program. I think they used to make butter. Pioneer power was more interactive when making rope, exploring house tools, and hands on experience with pulley and lever in the barn. I believe when I went they had an ox showing simple machines and did races with buckets of water over their shoulders. It has changed a lot. Had interactive learning but not as memorable as I remembered as a kid.”

“I didn't know they had food until pretty recently. We got the breaded mushrooms and a pizza. The mushrooms are like a broasted taste and not super heavy. They and the pizza were awesome. They said they were short staffed but we got our food in what I feel is a normal time. This is definitely going to be our go to for pizza now. I also appreciate that it's pretty affordable.”
