Phenomenal food and service during a busy lunchtime. I ordered the corned beef with fries and, corn chowder. The fries were crunchy, the corned beef was cooked exceptionally well (not cooked fast and sliced thin), and the corn chowder was creamy with flavor.

If you're looking for a fresh breakfast that's well-prepared and served by a friendly server, Hen House is a great place to stop. Based on the parking lot, we could tell they have plenty of business, which is always a good sign of food quality and freshness. I had two eggs over easy with ham, fruit and two pancakes. The ham was tasty and generous in size, and the two eggs were soft, perfect for dipping my husband's extra piece of toast in the yolks. I've never seen such delightfully fluffy pancakes! With the eggs, peaches and ham, I didn't even touch the pancakes yet, but I'm looking forward to eating them tomorrow morning. Nice strong coffee to start you on your day, too.

The Hen House Cafe is one of those places that never disappoints. I’ve been several times now, and the food is consistently delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. On top of that, the service is always great: friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing.
