After a hectic week in Milwaukee, the drive to Barley’s Hops & Malt felt like a much-needed exhale. The rustic wooden interior, like an old stable, instantly brought a sense of calm. The meat lasagna was rich, hearty, and honestly tasted like something homemade with love. Live music played in the background easy, familiar tunes that made the night feel even warmer.
The drinks were smooth, the bartender had a spark that lit up the room, and when the owner recognized me from a past visit, it felt like coming home. In a world that often feels too busy, Barley’s offered a rare kind of comfort. It wasn’t just a meal it was a moment I didn’t know I needed.

I visited this restaurant last week. I ordered the New york strip steak and it was amazing. I would highly recommend visiting this place and try their food.

We were in town for business purposes. Most places like this in the area, that serve food are closed on Tuesdays. Barley's wasn't very far from our hotel, and we thought we'd give it a try. The atmosphere was fun, We could tell that our waitress was very busy, but she didn't let that stop her from being attentive to our table. She was amazing! ......And the food! I ordered the wild mushroom pizza, and it was delicious. My husband had the broasted chicken, and he said it was some of the best, hot and juicy, and the breading was crisp and seasoned well. Our business will be doing business in the area over the next months, and will be back, for sure!

Hands down THE best prime rib in the area, not some Milwaukee steakhouse charging $100 just for a cut of meat. Good prices great people, and Gimi can make the best steak in a 100 mile radius 10/10
