Simple. Don't get sushi. I guess fine appetizers. My family repeatedly goes here but i don't see why. Super expensive horrid service. It is hit or miss. Least its a nice place to sit and waste time if your into that sort of thing... I'm sure the drinks are fine, I've never personally had their Mexican food. But as the single sushi restaurant in a 30min radius...... So much opportunity and zero execution.

Love this place! Highly recommend the crab Rangoon- so delicious! (I don’t do the raw sushi, but others I’ve dined with have said it’s high quality.). And it’s so relaxing to sit outside when the weather is good. Their soft steak tacos are also amazing. Plus a cool vibe inside. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because a few times they’ve been out of the crab Rangoon… Also really like that the prices are reasonable.. just a win on all levels!

My family and I went there last night and the food was unbelievably great. Highly recommended this gem!! Will absolutely be going back. This place looks high class almost like it should be downtown in the city. You’ll love it.

The food is WAY too expensive for the quality. Would compare the sushi to grocery store quality. The tacos are bland, tasteless. I've ordered about 6 different cocktails and each one was worst than the next. There are much better options in ET.

Friendly and accommodating staff, a relaxing yet fun environment. I have been several times. The sushi and tacos have always been delicious. One our our go-to date night places!

Went there last night. About 2/3 full. Sat took our order. Then proceed to wait and wait and wait. The sever was nice but was only interested in selling us drinks. No "sorry for the wait" or "let me check on the rolls" What looked like the manager even glanced over but said nothing. After 45 minutes with NOTHING. At which point we saw the guys making rolls just hanging out talking. My girlfriend had enough. She put $10 for her can of beer and we left. Even as we got up to leave not one person attempted to rectify the situation. I even waited for a server to deliver a plate of food to a table in front of me. It's disappointing being from the area and finding a Sushi place that just fell completely flat. I live in Lake Geneva and skipped the one there to come here. Sad

I'm a local and have been here a few tines now. I have always had sushi, never the Mexican dishes, so I cannot comment on that. Sushi is good, albeit pricey. Nigiri is very thin compared to other places, and Maki rolls are good, but nothing special. What lost them an overall star is the prices on the menu are in dollars, no cents, and they conveniently up charge every item My Yellow Tail nigiri was not $4 as advertised, but $4.17, and my salad/maki roll combo was not $20 but $20.70. Not that an extra 87 cents is gonna break me, its the shifty way they go about it. I would rather the menu just say $4.20 and $20.70, or if you want to use dollars, $5 and $21.

We had a group of 18 for lunch on Saturday and had THE BEST time at Chinuk! The service was great the outdoor space was perfect for our large group that included elementary aged kids. We could have just eaten the appetizers and been one happy bunch but we didn't stop there. Both taco's and sushi were ordered and all was delicious AND beautifully presented. I can't recommend this place enough.

Great addition to the growing and vibrant East Troy dining scene! We had a combination of the inventive Japanese and Mexican menu - each item knocked it out of the park!! The atmosphere and service were also first rate. We will be back.

The food and drinks we got were great! Everything was delicious. The service needs some work though. Would’ve easily ordered twice the amount of food and drinks had the server come back to check on our table. Our food order was likely lost considering how long it took to make but the server never owned up to it and the kitchen closed before we could order more. Left the restaurant feeling hungry. Disappointing

Love this place! Food is great. It seams like there are always additions or improvements to the menu. Service is great. We are always greeted with a smile and a friendly atmosphere.Let’s face it, service is only as good as your worst employee but you can tell that management has a high standard for making sure that everyone has a great experience with the food and the service.
