This was just a random stop I made on my way out of Milwaukee, but good gosh do they make some great food. Pretty decent variety of drinks too. They got something for everybody. And they don't skimp on flavour. It's a little on the costly side but you're paying for a good experience.
Very comfortable

We had a group of 8 people when we arrived on a Fish Fry Friday ey, and Amanda was very accommodating! She pulled two tables together, was patient with everyone's order & very professional! Great server & bartender!!

I identified that I was handicapped when I called to make a reservation and when we arrived they'd reserved a high table and said I should have asked for a low table. First time guest, I didn't know we had a choice. A gracious couple at a low table offered to move. Staff not so gracious. Food great.

Stopped by the East Troy House while passing through Wisconsin and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a welcoming, classic tavern feel with plenty of local charm—lots of history and fun décor on the walls that makes it cozy but lively.
The cheeseburger was spot-on: juicy, perfectly cooked, and stacked with fresh toppings. I also tried the buffalo cheese curds—crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, with just the right amount of kick from the buffalo sauce. Easily some of the best curds I’ve had in the area.
Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion size.
If you’re anywhere near East Troy, this spot is worth the detour for a hearty meal and a classic Wisconsin tavern experience. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

We love this place! Food is good. Bartenders are so friendly. Waitresses are attentive. There is one HUGE problem we face constantly at this restaurant and it is the hostess that wears glasses. I believe her name is Susan. She is RUDE, OBNOXIOUS AND EXTREMELY NASTY. Im sure an establishment like this could find someone who does not exhibit these negatives! She is not a good representative for this great establishment

Restaurantji Recommends
Wonderful all around. The staff was wonderfully attentive and always ensured we had something to drink and know when our food was arriving. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming with lots of fun signs. And the food was simply wonderful. The mushroom risotto was amazing - highly recommend this dish! The giant pretzel is super giant. The kids enjoyed their Mac and cheese and nuggets. We definitely recommend this place and will be back when we are in the area next.

Bae which serves food. Small. Good servers. Food was okay. Little town. Prices were fair. Parking 🅿️ was difficult.
Neat old place with a lot of history. Only have cod for fish fry though...
