Great Food, Great People, Great Community
Wonderful local restaurant
Love the fact they take reservations on a Friday night. Service is excellent. No drinkers at our table. Started with the seafood nachos. Very tasty with crisp corn tortillas a variety of fish and shellfish, perfectly seasoned cheese sauce and fresh pico. Two at our table had perfectly prepared perch with french fries. I had the baked cod and they happily subbed a vegetable for the potato for me. The seasoned vegetable blend of broccolini and roasted grape tomatoes was very good. The cod was flaky and tender. The serving was smaller than other times I had it. All the plates came with good creamy coleslaw, yummy tarter sauce, lemon wedge and marble rye bread.
What a Menu! She had the tenderloin marsala dish and I had the shrimp and scallop alfredo dish. I got the chance to have a bite of hers, so I would recommend both dishes! We started with the seafood nachos, which were also great?. Quaint dining atmosphere with a little bar for cocktails before dinner. We enjoyed our experience!!!
This place was very good! I went there with my family after a day on the boat and everyone loved their food. The seafood nachos were a hit, and my blt wrap was very good. The creme brulee was probably the best we have ever had. We never expected to say that after traveling the world we'd find the best creme brulee in East Troy, but we did.
Always a great meal here. The table shared the mozzarella wontons and the pork quesadillas; they were wonderful. From burgers to flatbreads to salmon their menu is always fresh and wonderful, something for everyone. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the service is always exceptional.
This simply the best resturant within 50 miles. Cozy decor, creative menu which changes up monthly. I travel for a living and eat out quite often and I still rate this as one my favorite places to eat.
My friend and I both had the southwestern salad and we both LOVED it! Our waitress was fantastic!! Very friendly and personable. They have a saying above the door "walk in as strangers, leave as friends". It was definitely true of our experience!
Friendly Good device Great Food. Great bartenders.
Fish dinner and burgers are great. Special requests on orders, like no butter on the bread are frequently flubbed. It is typically very busy on Friday nights and can get too loud to converse. The decor is neat but provides no sound reduction and the tables are a bit to close to each other for comfort.

Don't pass up a chance to dine at Ivans. Every dish proves they really care about what they serve. They put the effort into every dish. Mid priced, high quality. BTW the fish fry on Fridays is as good as anywhere you've tried. Enjoy!
Best food for miles around!! And then some! Creative and classic. If you enjoy fine food, you will love this comfortable classy place! It will always deliver on deliciously executed and lovely cuisine! Better than more expensive places! Hands Down! If you enjoy well married flavors and healthy refreshing choices along with your guilty pleasures....THIS IS YOUR PLACE!
my entree, salmon and risotto was wonderful! the spinach and tomato garnish/base added flavors and textures that were great contrasts. I'd order it again! We enjoy the furnishings and decorations - a comfortable place to eat and meet others.
Loved the romantic atmosphere and vintage charm! I had a great tasting chicken salad & my friend loved his ruben sandwich. We were shocked at how small our bill was! We will definitely be back again. :)
$13 for the worst bacon cheeseburger I've ever had. Burger king would have been more satisfying. I ordered medium rare & got rare...raw, greasy meat with zero seasoning. Zero flavor. Came with 4 tablespoons of canned potato salad. Thank god I tried it out before bringing anyone important there. My friend ordered the Reuben..the meat was deli meat, not corned beef. If you want the real deal...try Gus's Drive Thru Diner...only $5 and simply fabulous!
