My first time trying out LD's BBQ, and it was definitely not my last. We visited today around 3pm, and it was not overly busy, which was nice because I've heard how busy it can get! We got two of The Drake deluxe sandwiches and a half order of McPherson nachos. All three meats on the sandwich were delicious and very plentiful! Usually a sandwich on a hoagie is a lot of bread with not a lot of meat, but not here! Even with my kid picking the meat off my sandwich, I still had a ton!There were 4 bbq options on the table. My two favorites were the Boss and the Original.The nachos were great, and I really liked that they put cheese shreds under the nacho cheese... ?We chose the beans as our sides, and there were chunks of rib meat in it with a wonderful blend of sweetness and smokiness.After our meal, my daughter wrote her name on the wall with all of the other patrons that have left their mark here. Then the owner came out and chatted with her and gave her a free cookie! It was such a great interaction, and he seemed to really care about his business and patrons.The women's bathroom was very clean and well stocked, and has two individual rooms for doing your business.The girls behind the counter were all very friendly and all had smiles on their faces, especially the one that was cutting brisket, she has a great laugh and really seemed to enjoy what she was doing.All in all, a really great experience and I'm very much looking forward to returning soon!!

Yes, I will return. BBQ Beef Brisket a plus and Ribs are a plus. Didn’t care for the Sauces. The meat is nice/tender. Delicious soft bread for the brisket sandwich. The smoked meat here....If you like bbq joints, check this place out. Nachos were slamming!! Covered in brisket...?Oh, and then try to find a place to write yourname on the wall!! I did!
When we arrived there was a bit of a line. It moved pretty quickly! The menu was extensive and strictly for carnivores. We ordered the brisket dinner and a half a slab of ribs. Two sides each, both got cole slaw, one order of beans and one corn bread. We both liked the slaw. The corn bread would have been if it was warm and the beans didn't get touched (more on that later).Food came out fast and we sat down on a long table that had the 4 different sauces on it. We both ripped into the slaw, which was pretty good. Next I set my sights on the mountain of brisket and the large pile of ribs Mary had in front of her. We swapped some meat started in on the pile. It was a daunting task! It was delicious. We said UNCLE with half the brisket left and two ribs. The beans were never touched. Go see for yourself, it was really good and well worth it.

This restaurant could be so much better if there was a way to get the customers through the line much quicker. The line gets very long, very quickly. The beans did not contain much meat in them.
