There is absolutely NO ambiance in this restaurant at all. Formica tables that wobble when U cut thru your steaks. But the food is fine...and reasonable. Their beer and pop R EXTREMELY REASONABLE!! I wanted Scallops, as I've had them their b4, but they're no longer on the menu. So I had fried shrimp. Got 6 of them. Nothing really special, but they were tasty. No seafoody smell or taste. Very sweet and tender. Had a HUGE baked potato with Ranch dressing. Their Ranch dressing is very tasty. Their cucumber Dill dressing, however, is a different story all together. Had that on my yummy salad. The dressing had absolutely no taste to it. It needed more cucumber, more Dill, some onion and garlic, a bit of lemon and salt and pepper. My husband had their Hamburger steak and he said it was very good. He also had cottage fries which he raved about nonstop. My son had a steak and French fries. Their fries were delicious. The steak, not so much. It was nice and soft, juicy, tender but also had absolutely NO seasoning on it or any flavor. Very easy to cut and Chew. They also gave us a salad tray. That could use a little work. It had a package of crackers on there 4 each of us. 9 round carrot slices, 2 green onions, 6 radish pieces, 2 pieces of celery, a little dibble of ham salad and 6 black olives.

Food was wonderful. So glad we gave it a try. This place used to be amazing years ago and then we had a couple years it wasn’t too good. Our food tonight was great. We had a large amount of hand breaded onion haystack and cheese curds. We had meals of smoked ribs, ribeye, Asian salad, and fried cod. All meals were cooked well and delicious. We were excited to have the relish tray with the ham salad dip back as well. Bloody Mary was pretty good too.

Have not been there in 2 years. Wow, not what it used to be. High prices and poor quality food. We were there on a Thursday night. Got there before 5pm to get a table. No need for that. We left at 6:30 and there was one other table (summer time). We used to love coming here. The menu was a joke. Never again!!
