“I found myself driving to Lacrosse Memorial day weekend and was a little of the beaten path when I found a hole in the wall bar open for lunch. I was greeted with hellos from the two employees that I saw. I was immediately asked what I wanted to drink and received a can of diet coke with a glass of ice, along with a menu. Seem to be a very neat and clean place to the extent of changing the grease in the fryer that day. I placed an order for a burger and fries, it came quickly and tasted great. The half a dozen other patrons seemed to be regular / locals and made me feel right at home. Sounded like the bar had new owners and they did a great job decorating and sounded like they have live music once in a while. I paid my tab and received some directions and got back on the road. If I find myself near Eastman WI again I will definitely stop in.”

“They made my daughters 6th birthday cake and we couldn't have been more pleased. We told them it was lego themed, showed the invitations, and told them to do what they do. Well needless to say the when it was picked it, we were so beyond pleased with it. It was so cute and very good. The kids loved the fact that the lego pieces on the cake were made of chocolate and they could eat them 🙂. Highly recommend and we will be returning!!”

“Portside has a great fish fry. Have been coming to Harper’s Ferry for about 6 months and we always have to go in to see their friendly staff and they have great food as well.”

“My new favorite Pizza Ranch! Super nice and courteous staff. SOOO much variety! Usually I'm happy to get 2 of my favorite pizzas, and today I got all of them! Taco, Da Popper, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Sweet Chicken Chili, even Breakfast Pizza! Never had scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, or loaded mashed potatoes at the 4 other Pizza Ranch locations I've visited before. I'll definitely be back!”

“My wife and I along with my sister and her husband ate dinner at The Barn on Aug 17. I had the full rack of baby back ribs and they were quite possibly the best ribs I’ve ever eaten anywhere.”

“We went for breakfast and it was fairly busy. I did go into place my order and use the restroom. There was no line to place the order and they waited on me immediately. The food was fresh and came out in a timely manner. The floors were sticky throughout the entire restaurant. From the cash register, to the bathroom, to the tables we waited at for our food, you could feel your feet stick to the ground, with every step you took. It was hard to find a clean table to wait for our food at. The prices are average, to slightly higher, than other fast food restaurants, with the quality of food be a little better.”

“Sometimes the bar tender can be rude, but this place has that old-school neighborhood bar feel—very “everybody knows somebody.” People are friendly, the bartenders interact, and it’s the kind of spot where conversations just happen without trying too hard. It’s not fancy, but that’s exactly the point.”

“Stopped with my dad during a quick road trip to grab something to eat. I can’t remember our server’s name, but he was super cool and checked on us enough without making us feel rushed or crowded. The pizza came out fast and everything tasted great, exactly what we needed before getting back on the road. Really solid little spot, would definitely stop again if we’re passing through.”
