Bar was owned by a well known resident of PDC for 55 years giving the bar it's name Bob's! In 2013, he retired, selling the business to Jeff Hallberg, known and liked by many around the community! Jeff brought life back into the bar with a fun, easy going atmosphere where you feel comfortable the moment you walk in! We're from out of town (Joliet, Illinois) & stopped in last Thursday night. The plan was to start at Bob's & work our way westward down the street, hitting several bars (as we usually do when in town). That never happened because the bartender (Jen) was so friendly to the wife & I that we never went to any other bar, even though they didn't even have my beer (Rolling Rock). We drank there for several hours & then headed back to the hotel. That's how welcome we felt, thanks Jen!
