We have been loyal customers for years and understand restaurants have had a hard time the last few years. But the last 2 times we've gone there for dinner, they were closed. The most recent time was a few days ago. They had posted their menu for pasta night on their facebook page so we drove 25 miles from Seneca only to be told by someone inside they were closed, not even 2 hours after their menu post. I guess I should call ahead if we go there again.

The food is great if you’re looking for a burger that actually has some taste, they use locally raised beef. The portions are huge so either come hungry or be ready to take some food home.

called in for a carry out at 4 pm for a prime rib..saturday night..was told I had to wait till like 6 :30 pm to pick up...???? what..never had this before other places..told them to forget it..that was in 2021..never been back..

Great time with friends & family! Hamburgers using beef from local farms. Great asian chicken salad with very tangy dressing. For our short wait the generous server stated us with a veggie platter. Make sure to save room for the homemade cupcakes. Great views & seating outside.

Hash brown's weren't done.Sweet potato was burnt to a crisp.Second time there. 1st time, ribs were burnt.Know not to come back Very expensive too.

This was once the place eat when visiting the Prairie du Chien area. The food was always great, the staff friendly and the prices good. Not any longer. Since the new owners have taken over, this place has gone downhill to the point it should just close down.
Stopped here for a drink and ended up staying for supper..the staff was super friendly..and seeing other people's food and the mouthwatering menu drew us in for Supper. I had the fish fry which had the lightest best batter I've ever had with a sweet potato cooked to perfection..my Beau had the baked salmon with cajan sauce..it was melt in your mouth delicious with the perfect amount of spice. If we lived here I would want to try everything on the menu..however when visiting again we will definitely stop here!

While it’s been a few years since I’ve been there the memory of the absolute best burger ever is still fresh in my mind. Must be the fresh local meat. I went back on a motorcycle tour but they were closed that Monday. I will be back though.

It was so very cold in this restaurant, the fish was very over priced and again it was so cold even with coats on,turn up the AC or change it to heat.why spend 70.00 and be cold ,will not go back until other tell us it is warmer their.Plus you had to ask for a vegetable tray,why.

I normally do not give bad reviews, but....i think I need to on this one. My family and I went there yesterday and we waited over an hour to get our food. And when we did, everything was burnt. Hamburgers were fried to a crisp as well as the fish sandwiches. After we finally got our food, no one ever came back to our table. Several people walked out instead of waiting for their food. We finally had to ask the bartender for our bill, and there was no apology or anything. I get that places are struggling for help, but there was never an apology.
