4 of us had steak, and we were not happy with them . Kinda on the tough side. The salad bar was good. My after dinner drink was not good, tasted like milk. Service was good.

Review for Friday Night Fish Fry... It took an hour to get food once seated. While we waited, our waitress filled one round of the three so we took care ourselves at the bar, nbd. Once the food arrived I got 1/2 a cup of tartar for 4 pieces of fish. The fish was room temperature... we were a party of 2. The main dinning room had four tables empty of customers. The fries were hot but the potato inside the fry was grainy like a raw potato. I haven't sent food back in years, sent it all back. Fish came back hot which was nice. Fries came back undercooked and still fiberous like raw hashbrowns. Prices for a white claw and spotted cow tap was $9... a bit steep.

We used to love 4 mile. Lay night it took over an hour to get a table. I could see that but then another hour after order was put in. Then to top off the food was cold. What has happened?

Ish!! Used to be amazing! Flabbergasted at the quality of food!! Used to have the specials; tonight was ‘shredded chicken and vegetables over mashed potatoes.’ What a joke. It was canned gravy over potatoes with five peas and less chicken than you get in ‘Campbell’s chicken noodle soup’ (would probably taste better!). We have been patrons for YEARS and will not go

So, it’s been about 4 years since we’ve moved away from Eau Claire, but we will forever miss 4 Mile and their amazing fish fry. We loved the cozy atmosphere inside, the insane portions of food, the salad bar (with soups), and the excellent cocktails. The only problem I can think of is that this place isn’t a franchise. We could really use some good fish fry out here!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner and drinks. Have not been here for a long time. Seated immediately on a Thursday night. Friendly capable server Alicia. She was considerate in her timing in attending to us. Salad bar was fresh and variety of items. I loved the house dressing. Homemade croutons were greasy. Chicken noodle soup was good. I had baked walleye and hash browns. Tasty. Husband had ribeye with mushrooms and baked potato. Steak done properly, was tender, a bit fatty but price point was decent. We treated ourselves to brandy old fashioned and Bear Hug ice cream drink for dessert. Delish! Restaurant was clean and comfy. They don't take credit/debit which is a bit of a pain but we knew that coming into the place.
