This was our first time here. I ordered the gluten free turkey sandwich and this was very good. I was very disappointed that I had to pay .75 cents for any refills on our soda drinks, given the soda initially costs $1.99 (12 oz with lots of ice). If you need to use the bathroom remember to take your receipt with you as you need a password to get into, and this is on your receipt…not a good idea if someone has bathroom urgency issues. The seating was old wooden church pews…which was not comfortable at all.Dietary restrictions: Restaurant has gluten free bread stored in an air tight plastic bag from manufacture…looked like Udi’s. Employee stated that the restaurant is not celiac approved.Parking: 2 hour street parking that is monitored.

I hate to do this but this heartbreaking .about a year ago this used to be my everyday meal , came back to town and first stop was here to grab a sandwich like the old days .. sandwich came out with hair on it ..whatever took it to the cashier the first one was very understanding and said “ sorry we will make you another one “ he gave it to his what I can assume his boss who took the order and he just rolled his eyes with attitude and said “ oookay” rather then make it right .. not acceptable, response on his behalf .. long story short they made me another sandwich. The kicker is walking into the place , had to maneuver two homeless people at the door , smelling aweful , talking to themselves and smelled like weed ..whole place smelled like Body odor , overall it wasn’t a good experience this time around .. I’m fair and I love this place so I will try them again during the week again because I’m used to this place being nothing but wonderful

We got an ice cream with 2 scoops, one chocolate and one Java chunk. The portion was huge, the flavor exceptional, the ice cream of outstanding quality, and the price only $3! The girl who served us was very polite and sweet. I highly recommend it!

I met a friend for my first time here at Acoustic Cafe. I ordered a coffee and a sandwich, the medium sandwich, however to my surprise I barely got any turkey on it at all!! It was shreds of turkey instead of slices!! SO DISSATISFIED!! Subway makes a better sandwich!! FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL EAT HERE!!! Did not even equal to one full slice!! At these prices you would think that you'd get at the least, a few slices of meat!!

I've eaten here many times in the few years I've lived in the area. The food is simple, but always good, and the staff are always friendly. I've seen other reviews where people complain about the staff being rude, which I have never experienced.This review is two stars, because today I went in and there was a guy in line yelling and generally making me (and probably others) uncomfortable. He seemed to know every staff member's name and they seemed to know him, so I'm assuming he's a regular. I don't really blame the staff, because I'm sure there's not much they can do, and they're just trying to be friendly. However, if I were the manager or owner of the establishment, I would have asked this guy to either shut up or leave. He did at least fade into the background for a bit while at his table, but he popped back up to shout some 80's hits at the staff and stumble around in front of the trash can while I was trying to leave. Note that I don't think the guy was mentally ill or anything, just loud and obnoxious, with no regard for people around him.Anyway, I know this isn't the fault of the restaurant, but, if the regulars make the place unpleasant, it's effectively the same as just having a bad restaurant, from a customer's perspective at least.I guess I'm now going to have to double check to make sure this guy isn't there every time I go in. Fortunately, he's easy to spot - he'll be the guy standing by the counter yelling.
The gluten free hoagie I had today was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. They warmed it up too.Service was friendly and the space is large.Not a lot of outside signage indicating that it's there from what I could tell, but it's a local staple.

We saw one of these over in Menomonie as well. This one was nice. Service was great. Atmosphere very pleasant. Big windows let in lots of light.Parking: Downtown area. Parking is free. Took a little looking but we easily found a space.

Sat here for 30 minutes waiting for 4 coffee drinks. Ask why it was taking so long. They said that they were making them in batches. Meaning that our drinks kept getting pushed back. This is not how you service people. It should go and order that people have came in.

A Chippewa Valley classic. Eau Claire will always be my home location, but Menomonie is awesome as well. This time around I had a Turtle Mocha, which was perfect And my friend had a Lavender Chai, which was, to my surprise, equally delicious! Super fast service, and they were very patient while we decided our order. 5 stars. Always.
