Had a great celiac safe meal. I ate three tacos, steak and barbacoa. Both excellent. Had a selection of gluten and dairy free desserts. I was in town for work and so happy to have found this place!

The food is always fresh and delicous. Their guacamole is one of my favorites. Service is always friendly! I love the convenience of on-line ordering for take-out. It is an easy to use system.

My work has brought in Silly Serrano several times for catering. It is always great food and we look forward to it every time! Also great food in the restaruant too. Love the quesadillas!

Silly Serrano has put in a lot of work to create an eye catching venue for people to enjoy Mexican cuisine. There is a fun mural on the outside of the building and they have added a nice sized patio on the side of the building (which I believe is dog friendly). I always value outdoor dining options and when my dog can join me! The food has been great when I have dined in, got takeout, and when it was catered. I have enjoyed working with Silly Serrano when catering an event too. They were really nice to work with, flexible, and more affordable than some other vendors. I have enjoyed the food, but haven't loved their coffee. I appreciate the convenience of the drive thru when on the go, but I would say it it's not worth the stop if you're going solely for coffee. I feel there are better coffee options relatively close. I typically order a vanilla latte when I go places, but I just haven't enjoyed theirs (It may be the syrup they use that I am not a fan of, but don't know for sure). If you do decide to get coffee, they do allow use of reusable mugs, so it is always encouraged when you bring one to reduce single use products! It's also important to note that they are only open until 2pm and they are closed Sunday and Monday.

I used to live in CA and really missed the street tacos until I found this place. It's better then what I remember! The meat is always wonderfully moist, flavorful and doesn't have large chunks of fat that I find off putting. The pork/carnitas street taco is my favorite food in Eau Claire.

The food is fresh and high quality at an affordable price. Voted #1 BEST TACOS in the CHIPPEWA VALLEY. Fish Tacos are a 10/10. Grilled fish with the perfect amount of Cole slaw and topped with a tasty Serrano mayo. Cute and quaint neighborhood location. Nice patio. Tons of Gluten Free options and VERY Celiac safe. Also, currently serving breakfast and full espresso bar drinks. Try the Boba Horchata.

Friendly staff and great service. Pleasant atmosphere, ample parking for the store size, clean, and fun decorating. We had the carnitas nachos and an XX amber. Great food and reasonably priced.

The establishment has a coffee shop icon on Google Maps but is actually a cafe. The cappuccino was good but not in the category of a coffee shop. Pleasant, attentive staff. Small cafe.

This is a fast-casual place: one orders at the counter, and it is delivered to the table where one is seated. Restaurant personnel are cheerful, friendly and helpful. They continued to check back with us after delivering our food to see if anything else was needed. Although they serve alcohol, the margarita was insipid. The guacamole also was quite flavorless. The tacos and burrito we ordered were similarly bland. We had read "Our Story" about the owner/chef before we decided to try Silly Serrano and expected richer, more authentic flavors. There are many other Mexican restaurants in Eau Claire where the food is better.

Great little Mexican restaurant! I had the fish tacos which were delicious, along with black beans and brown rice. Had a little margarita, also tasty and hit the spot. The restroom was clean and there was not only one hook on the door, but two!! In the Upper Midwest where you have big winter coats and many women also have purses or people have a backpacks, it's nice to have a place to hang those things. Anyplace with a public restroom should be ashamed if they don't have hooks in them. The service was quick and friendly. It's not fancy but perfect for a casual meal. I only wish people working were masked, but I get it. Folks in Eau Claire don't think COVID's a problem anymore.

Their website let me place an order on Friday, AND charged my credit card. Upon arrival, there was nobody at the drive-through window. After parking and walking around to the front, there was a sign posted that they are to be closed until TUESDAY, when their system allowed and charged me money for an order on FRIDAY. The food is great, but I will never EVER eat here again. I understand that this is a difficult time for staffing, but this place is terrible at managing it when other local restaurants have been adapting just fine. They close for random and don't post it to social media or update Google. I've tried to bring my fiance here several times to find them closed every time they are supposed to be open. At least they usually update their online ordering system, UNTIL NOW. Never again. That crosses the line. Sometimes great cooks are terrible businesspeople, and this is one of those unfortunate times. Oh, and they don't even have a voicemail or even an answering machine set up so I can leave them a voicemail about returning my money from their fraudulent charge.
