Good place to hold events, hang out and much more. Great food as well!

If I could give zero stars I would. I am beyond frustrated and upset about my service for my wedding. I can't give any word on the food, only that they will cancel last minute on your event. At 10:30pm, two months before my wedding, I received an email that said "sorry, we can no longer cater your wedding. We will give you back your deposit."When I asked why, it was because they were short staffed and they had a new menu. Well, those would be sizable excuses if we booked our wedding last minute, but we booked our wedding almost a year ago. They knew about our wedding and the staff they would need for a long time. Additionally, they had time to hire new staff or make arrangements to fulfill their contractual obligations.Do not trust this company for your catering needs or any special event. They will only disappoint.

ClaireWaters is now a cajun seafood boil restaurant called Eau Juicy. Interesting concept unlike anything else in Eau Claire area. Simple menu but very tasty sauce choices. I would have preferred a bowl in addition to the plastic bag containing my entree. This building is so amazing and has so much potential. A little tweaking with entree presentation might be more appealing to a broader scope of people. I love the food but not sure the dining experience measures up to the wonderful atmosphere and aesthetics.

Like Jennifer below, we had a poor experience with ClaireWaters this summer for our wedding.20 days before our wedding, we received an email from the business (not sure from who- it wasn't signed) stating that the previous catering manager had miscommunicated the cost of the food and services from when we met with them in summer 2020. The true prices are 35% more than what we were told. There was no "meet in the middle" conversation.Based on another prior review of the catering employees not being professional at another wedding, we were concerned that the service itself would not be good, so we took our deposit back and managed to find another caterer.Overall, we are really disappointed that this happened and cannot recommend this company in good faith, either. There were multiple emails and phone calls from June 2020- June 2021 to clarify services and food options with no catching of the pricing and service mistakes. I'm assuming that it wasn't until 20 days before our wedding that someone above the catering manager took a look at the prices and quote we were given. We spoke with one of the owners when we picked up our deposit, and he was kind and very disappointed as well. We were told they let the former event manager go.We feel terribly for other couples who received a similar email and are scrambling last minute to find another caterer. We cannot recommend this catering and event service- we don't want anyone to go through what we did.

Nice looking scenery. Good for seniors photos and small events!

This is a review of their catering business. We would strongly advise others to avoid their services due to poor communication and customer service we received. In September of 2020, we hired them to cater our wedding for September of 2021 and paid our deposit. We were in contact with the event coordinator who was helpful and responded quickly to our emails. Our last email was in February 2021 about details for staffing. June 29th we were contacted via email to ensure they were set for our date and wondering what our final decision on servers and food were. On July 2, we were contacted again stating they had been trying to reach out to us since February and hadn't gotten a response from us (despite no evidence of missed calls or emails from them trying to contact us) and were going ahead and scheduling our catering date on their calendar. We responded a few hours later, during our work day, stating that we had already booked them back in September 2020 and we were still finalizing details about staffing based on our recommendations from our wedding venue. They responded stating the previous event coordinator who we had been working with no longer works with them and double booked our date. Since we did not respond in a timely manner, they moved forward with the other couple. Nowhere in their emails was it specified that it was time sensitive nor that we were double booked. We did talk to the owner, we presume as she never identified who she was, about the situation but she did not offer any assistance to try and make the situation work or recommend another caterer. The owner stated she was going to look through her paper trail to show they tried to contact us and we have yet to hear from her. They did refund us our deposit but again no apology for the poor communication and leaving us scrambling to find a new caterer 12 weeks before our wedding. Attached is the last email communication we received from them, so that you can judge and make an informed decision on your own based off that. We cannot in good faith recommend that anyone puts the trust of one of their most important days of their lives in the hands of Clairewater Catering (now Eau Juicy?), as we would hate to see other couples in the same position of scrambling to secure a new caterer just 2 months prior to their wedding day.

The bartenders were hilarious - so much fun!! We had an absolute blast in ClaireWaters event center and their food was something to talk about. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so rememberable!

This is strictly a review for the catering as I haven't had any experience with the actual restaurant itself. It all started off great and we got in contact with them to cater our wedding in Mondovi. We went and tasted the food which was phenomenal. At this time we decided we wanted them to cater our event and paid a $500 deposit fee. A few months went by and we were getting closer to the date of the wedding and I emailed them and gave them the list of what we decided we wanted for our wedding out of what we had taste tested. We were told that the prices would be right around $20 dollars per plate. Awesome, that sounded great. Time went by and it was about 3 weeks before the wedding and we hadn't gotten a solid estimate for the event. I kept asking to get an estimate which I did not receive until ONE DAY before the wedding. I realized right away that the plate prices had gone up and were about $24 per plate. I thought to myself that the food was good enough that that was alright and we'd live with it, but what got me is that there was a 20% food cost fee added as well. So if the food was $2,000 dollars there was an extra $400 added to the bill.So now it's our wedding day and communication to this point has been sub-par at best. We were supposed to be served dinner at the agreed upon time of 5:30PM. Well 5:30PM rolled around and they still hadn't even arrived. They arrived at about 5:40PM to start setting up for the event. Naturally I was quite frustrated with the situation. Not only were they late, but they were in street cloths and did not really tend to the buffet at all and did not communicate well. Thankfully the food was delicious (the chef did a wonderful job preparing the food). The day after the wedding I emailed them asking if I could get some sort of discount since the team being late to our event, had very poor communication, and the fact that they were wearing street cloths. I was told that they couldn't give us a discount as they already didn't make any money on catering our event because their food costs went up (which they hadn't relayed to us).All in all, I'm paying just shy of 3k for a dinner for an 85 person wedding where communication from the event coordinator and her team was extremely poor, and couldn't even show up on time. Like I said earlier, THANKFULLY the food was delicious but the service was extremely poor.I would not recommend going through them for your catering needs.

First time ever here.. Fish fry was ok ?‍♀️ definitely not the best. Coleslaw was disgusting. Service was decent .. definitely not the kind of place I expected when I walked in. Very weird vibe... almost like you should be dressed up .. buuuuuut not.

Crabcakes tasted good. Eggrolls were decent, butslightly heavy-handed on the white pepper. The waitress was kind of terrible, she put in an incorrect order of fries and then asked for us to see if we'd accept it. Then, my bacon and blue burger had no bacon but she didn't stop by the table to check on us so I ate half before realizing the bacon was missing. Waffle fries were seasoned well. Overall decent food, but I expected better service. Since the pandemic hit, most places have consistently messed up my food, and it's getting worse.

We had the broiled walleye and it was delicious, cooked perfectly. Broccoli was fresh-steamed with great seasoning. Everything came out hot. Staff was very attentive. Tables were spaced well, staff all masked.

Food and entertainment was great.
