I personally dont think the price was worth it. Upon seeing my original review, the owners reached out and asked how they can make things right. I do believe the service has been great!

We ordered cake pops and make your own mini fruit pizzas for our daughter’s graduation party. Jess and Duane did an exceptional job! These two desserts were the only thing that she cared about for the day and they were perfect! Excellent cake pops, which not all bakeries will even attempt. The mini pizzas were just plain sugar cookies and cream cheese frosting. We got the fruit topping to add. Thank you Jess and Duane! You will be who we call for all dessert needs!

My MIL ordered a carrot cake for a family Confirmation celebration, and it turned out great! The cake was moist and flavorful, and the frosting was really tasty-the perfect cake/frosting ratio. Everyone enjoyed it, and it was the perfect treat to help us celebrate.

The absolute best cupcakes in the world! We first had them back in 2018 when we had Dessert First make our wedding cake & cupcakes. We finally came back to the area & ordered ourselves a couple dozen mini cupcakes. I didn’t even leave the parking lot before trying one & let me tell you, 7 years later & they taste exactly the same as I remember! Absolutely delicious!

I found Desserts First Bakery online and instantly was drawn to their HUGE list of cupcake flavors. I decided to order 3 different flavors and all 3 were incredible! So moist and surprisingly not too sweet!! These are hands down, the best cupcakes I’ve ever tried. I specifically got these for my grandpa’s 80th birthday; so for him to be so happy and enjoy these means the world to me!! Not to mention, the owners are incredibly helpful and prompt to respond. We got cupcakes and cake for our June 2024 wedding at desert first. They were so delicious and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! I knocked off a star because it was hard to connect with them. We wanted to do a zoom call or phone call and they had very little availability. Otherwise we loved working with them!
I have to say I was disappointed with the cake, it was dense and stodgy, the lemon cake was not as tasty as a result. The cake was not a a 2 tier cake and the flowers on top of the cake were cut badly. I specified what I wanted and got something else completely. The service was great Jess and Duane are great just the cake was not a home run. Which is the whole reason I went to them for a cake. Turns out we had Hy-Vee do our cake and my Mom-in-law loved it. I would definitely not go with Desserts First again.

They showed up on time to deliver before the wedding and even gave us our own little half doz of cupcakes to take home afterwards. The cake was beautiful, and everything was DELICIOUS! Everybody loved them. I also order a doz cupcakes every now and then for myself (sometimes I share) just because they are that good. I highly recommend Dessert First Bakery for your Wedding and Birthday needs, or simply just wanting to satisfy your sweet tooth. ?

I found Dessert First Bakery on a parent page for UW-Eau Claire by accident! Being that my daughter's birthday was days away I thought, I'd reach out and see if they could last minute put together an order and deliver it. Well they nailed it! They were out of town, but responded promptly and agreed to whip up a dozen cupcakes with split flavors and get them delivered to her dorm the next day. My daughter said they were delicious - highly recommend! They communicated quick, delivered as promised, and the cupcakes looked amazing!!
