We decided to try something new. The already cooked buffet line was lukewarm at best. Mostly processed and fried. The sushi was not good at all. Flavorless. The hot pot chicken broth base was very salty bouillon. The spicey broth base was very spicey with water, no flavor. The wait staff must have thought we weren't cooking our meat fast enough so she literally tossed the entire plate full into the broths. She didn't ask, just did it. We were eating our plate of lukewarm food and waiting not to have 2 plates of the same. Very rude. We didn't yet have our plate of veggies and meat from the frozen line to put in the broth to cook ourselves. By the time we cooked the oyster, veggies etc the meats she dumped in was like rawhide and cold. It was a new experience but not the experienced we thought it would be. It was disappointing at best. Neither of us would go again. Good luck to those who try it.

My daughter wanted to try this place. After looking on the website, I decided we would try lunch since dinner is $30 per person (lunch is $20). So we go, the food is ok, not fantastic. We had some little sausages that we popped in the pot at the beginning of the meal (our temp gage on high the whole time) and they were still not cooked all the way when we left. Biting into a raw sausage really turns your stomach. Then when we got the bill, they charged us $30 per person. When asked, they said that dinner is all day on weekends (there was no indication of that up front and since you pay after the meal, you are stuck). Then on top of that, they have the extra credit card fee. In the end, we paid $150 for a pot of soup I could make for $30. I guess we paid for the experience.

Dietary restrictions: My son has an egg allergy. They were very good at letting us know what had egg and what did not.

The hot pot was so good! Our server was Leon, he took great care of us. He suggested the chicken broth and the miso broth. For the meats we had lamb, beef and chicken. The flavors were super tasty! Leon even made us a fresh dipping sauce that elevated the experience and boosted the flavors. We can’t wait to visit again when we are in town!

Vegetarian options: A wide selection of mushrooms and vegetables as well as eggs to make this a vegetarian friendly restaurant.

Parking: Parking is located behind the building. Handicap parking is located in front of the building.

We liked it. We'll be back. Especially now that we know what we are doing. We won't order the 4 meats they have to bring to you tho. Our taste buds belongs on the buffet bar! My kids tried squid and octopus, and it was quite the family outing. The birthday boy got 50% off and it was 10% off since it was our first visit. The service was great. It was the 1st time in a long time I happily tipped my server. He deserved it! They are a fun crew. We even got a tour since it was our first time. My kid had a happy birthday and everyone went home full!! I love their sign "All you can eat does not mean all you can waste". Great motto.

Absolutely disgusting. The food in the hot bar was cold. I've had better sushi from the grocery stores. My daughter got some of the chicken nuggets and they were cold. Not lukewarm, cold. We told the server and they informed whomever was in charge of the area and I don't think anything was done. They remained cold through out our time there. The price was outrageous for the food that was given and I felt horrible spending as much money as I did. I left hungry and had to eat when I got home. Will never go again.

Our visit was definitely an experience. I do recommend everyone in the Eau claire area try it at least once, but it isn’t a place we will be coming back to regularly. The miso bone broth was amazing and great for boiling a huge variety of mushrooms. The spicy Szechuan broth was SPICY! I could only handle a couple of bites. For meats I only did chicken and pork and I enjoyed how they were cut into ultra thin slices.

The buffet foods like sushi, egg rolls, and sesame chicken were average. Visited during lunch and I believe the price was $35/person. Like I said, it was fun to try but the price really isn’t worth it unless you are a seafood lover, because they do have a wide selection of shrimp, fish, crab, etc.

I jist left, where the worst thing i could find about this very original style restaurant (at least to my standards) was a lot of the old building they are using needs updates, which to me is not somthing i would complain about. Food was very good, with a good selection of options including some very different options i never have seen. My waiter which i do not know his name, he is the shorter of the males and i would say mid 40 years old was the nicest waiter i have ever had and helped me figure everything out since it is a different type of experience. For the food and having a different than normal sot down restaurant style dinner that was very far from my normal i was exceptionally pleased. Very cool place i think. And the waiter was so great which is why i fealt he deserved me to tip very well and i was happy to do so. I will be back again! Thank you.

As a Chinese just moved to Eau Claire last year, this restaurant is impressive to me, I am not saying they have the best hot pot taste, just because we can eat Chinese Hot pot in Eau Claire which is already good enough for us.

I have been a part time server here since September, after serving more than 200 customers, I have to introduce some information about hot pot to the local people.

In the traditional culture of China, hot pot is about gathering together, family or friends, not just eating, also sharing. Here are some tips about hot pot:

1, after choosing your soup base, don't eat too much cooked food before enjoying the fresh meat except you don't like fresh meat.

2, in China, we usually eat fresh meat first, and seafood and vegetables, noodles we usually put in the last, of course if you like noodles, you can eat anytime.

3, a secret for hot pot is the dipping sauce, we usually mix different sauces together to make a special taste, remember to put some soup in the dipping sauce to make different flavors fully integrated, after dipping in the cooler sauce you can eat the hot meat instant.
If you don't have a clue about dipping sauce, just ask your server.They will be glad to help.

4, the spicy soup is nice for fresh meat, beef, lamb, and pork are all good in spicy broth.Have a try if you can eat some spicy.
