Had the Brisket Philly and the Brisket Platter! Food was absolutely delicious!! The cornbread was warm, flakey, and delicate. Absolutely recommend taking a stroll off the main drag and giving this restaurant a try!! And you get to watch them prep your food right in front of you!! Awesome job guys!!

Wonderful first experience! Best brisket both myself and my boyfriend (from Texas) has ever had. The loaded potatoes are also a work of art. Truthfully, my expectations were exceeded by the food and the service! Going to be trying out cobbler soon, but I’m confident it will be as wonderful as our entrees. 10/10 will be back and will be recommending to everyone I know!

Best BBQ around the area that I have ever had. everything tastes great! the onion and pickles on a pulled pork sandwich (which I normal dont eat onions) something about the combinations there are wonderful! the local honey mixed in with the butter for the amazing cornbread. the tritip steak when they have it YUM!! to the dessert with cool whip. the variety of catered food for wedding and all other events blows my mind every time! even people from other states like Texas, I've heard compliment the food there, and that says something. 100% recommend this place and 100% worth every penny...#fulleverytime4alongtime#foodietime

The bacon cheeseburger worst burger I’ve ever had. It was like mystery meat and red/raw inside ? Tasted like meatloaf and rotten cheese. You will get food poisoning eating this. Fries are good though

Stopped in for some lunch with my son and on the whole found the food to be OK but not great. I wish the food would’ve been served at a higher temperature instead, it was barely warm. The same can be said for the sides. That said service was great.

Just had Karls Bar-B-Q express for the first time and it did not disappoint! The staff was welcoming when we walked in and was quick to get our food while still having good conversation as they were getting our order together. We got a half rack of ribs, 2 meat plate of pulled pork, 2 sides of mac and cheese, 1 side of cowboy beans, 1 side of baby reds, 2 cornbreads, peach cobbler, and apple crisp for $46! Every single thing was awesome! Everything was seasoned perfectly but not over seasoned, specifically the sides like other BBQ places I've had. Their sweet and spicy BBQ sauce was great added to the pulled pork and even the side of pickels that come with it were the good bar style pickels! 10/10 would reccomend and will 100% be back!

PLEASE SERVE BUTTER. It is illegal in wisconsin to serve margarine as a substitute for butter. My food was perfect, delicious and hot and prepared perfectly. Everything was on track to being a perfect dining experience. We are the DAIRY STATE. You are a barbecue place, why would you serve imitation dairy products? One change would set you apart from any other.

Service was absolutely amazing and so was the food until a long black hair was found in my beef brisket!! I've got blonde hair so I know it was not mine. Unfortunately this was about 15 min after they closed so I couldn't address the issue with management.

So this is a required pit stop anytime we are traveling through Eau Claire. The smoked meats are 110% on point. The ribs were perfect in my opinion along with the burnt ends. The sides were amazing!! If you like baby red potatoes then you will definitely be in heaven with their buttery goodness of mashed baby reds. The staff is very helpful nice and helpful with any questions you may have. It was awesome to see them demonstrating teamwork when filling orders. I'm glad I never went to College in Eau Claire because I'm pretty sure my yearly food bill at Karl's would of been higher than the cost of my yearly tuition. Just sayin.....
