Overpriced overall, with some pretty ridiculous and miserly hidden upcharges and fairly poor service. Getting taken advantage of overshadowed what could have been a good meal. Much of the food was quite tasty, and the selection of unusual seafood dishes was impressive, but I would not go back, nor would I recommend the place due to the poor service and the out-of-control billing.

I noticed this restaurant after driving around the back side of the mall. I’m sure that back in the day this was a much busier area, but now there really isn’t anything over there. Manny’s exists as a relic of the past.

And that’s why I think their prices are too high. I’m sure they don’t have the ability to offer low (or even medium) priced options because they don’t receive enough business to afford the lower margins.

I decided to give it a try, just to see how the place was doing. The first thing I noticed was how there were no other customers here at lunchtime.

Starting off with an appetizer of THREE jalapeño poppers, I was already set back $9! And that was it for me. Nothing else on the menu was affordable. Plus, there is an additional credit card charge to get even more money out of you!

There shouldn’t be any shame in closing a restaurant because of changing times. Instead of price gouging to stay alive, they should just let the business go.

Went to Manny's for a lunch meeting. I wouldn't choose to go otherwise. The food was nothing special and the prices were too high.

We will start high and end low.
The atmosphere of the resturant looked and appeared nice and cozy, typical mexican restaurant vibe. The service was good.
We were the first seated guests, party of 6 at 11 am opening. The waiter was nice and friendly. The food was not great for typical Mexican, let alone terrible for the prices of this place. Fajitas did not sizzle as we all sat at the table and joked on that being reason people order them... queso appetizer was okay, came out in a tortilla, we had 2 servings both half way leaked out of the tortilla onto the plate. All the tacos were not great, semi cold, also did not come out with what was suppose to be served on top. Wouldn't be back unless our lives depend on it.

👎On Dec. 16 we told the server we were celebrating two birthdays (Both people's birthdays were on Dec. 16.), and we were told by the server that we would get free birthday desserts for the two birthday people in our group. After the birthday people were almost finished eating their birthday desserts, the server shared that the policy was for only one free birthday dessert per table, so she was going to have to pay for the additional birthday dessert because she didn't know the policy. When we said that seemed unfair, we shared that if we had known the policy, we would have asked for two tables. We even suggested having two separate bills, so the birthday desserts could maybe be free. When we received the bill, we were charged $9 for the extra birthday dessert. Unbelievable-since the server told us that we would receive the TWO free birthday desserts. We didn't order the desserts, but we did accept the offer. If we had been told about the policy right away, we could have made the decision to either get two tables or share one dessert. Instead we were charged $9. I wrote a letter to Manny's and sent it Dec. 17, but have not received a response. I would like a $9 refund. Although we enjoyed our drinks and our meals, I would not recommend Manny's anymore due to their customer service.

If I could give a zero rating, I would. I arrived at Home2 Suites at 12:00am after an arduous day of travel. I parked next to this large white truck in front of the hotel. The parking spot was not marked as exclusively for Manny's patrons. However, when I checked in, the hotel gave clear instructions to not park here because Manny's will tow my vehicle. This is a shared lot with the hotel. There is NO SIGNAGE indicating the spots are for the restaurant. The hotel added this advisory sign in their elevator. Congratulations Manny's. If you wanted to turn people away, you succeeded. I come to Eau Claire regularly and will NEVER patronize your restaurant, and I will discourage others as well. Mark your spots if you are that covetous over two parking spots far from your entrance.

Terrible owners. They have a shared lot with the hotel next door. We arrived to check in at 12am and had to move our car. Apparently, if you parked in the UNMARKED spots by hotel entrance, Mannys will tow your car. We had to move our car to a different area in the SHARED LOT!!! Terrible way to treat potential patrons. Mark your spots and don't take the asshole approach of towing cars.... especially since it's a shared parking lot. Will never patronize a place with such awful business practice.

Food is so fresh and worth it. But the service we had wasn't the best I've ever had. Margarita was yummy as well though.

When we arrived at 5:30 PM, perhaps it should've been a warning to us that the parking lot was empty. Upon entering there were three individuals at the host station, as our party approached we were greeted and asked how many were with us. We stated we made a reservation yesterday for 10 tonight at 5:30 PM, and that 8 Guests would be joining after all. Staff immediately brought our party back to an empty room with 20 chairs pulled out from the table. Without salt & pepper on the table, we quickly discussed the large party setup. When 3 Servers arrived to take our order, we were shocked we hadn't received water or been asked if we had questions. Instead, the Server wished our party a "Happy Birthday", and asked if we were ready to order. We quickly corrected the lead Server that we're celebrating a Bride To Be, and would like water and chips & salsa first. We came from a wine tour and had no reason to rush. We were told our chips & salsa would be served with our meals — IF we ordered entrees. An assumption we wouldn't? Or, a brash way to share their policy? Either way, it sent our group another warning, after another warning, after another warning. The three Servers took our drink orders, together, for 8 people — no one knew who to talk to, it was extremely confusing and took away from the hospitality of the dining out experience. Half of our party ordered in Spanish with one Server, while the other half of our table seemed to have a lead Server and a Server Assistant? Wish we knew. Our orders were accurate, and the female "assistant" (?) was attentive, and kind. The lead Server did not know the Draft Beers available, and had to leave during our order to check. Our meals arrived warm, but not hot. The two orders of fajitas were served in cast iron pans with handle mitts, yet the pans were easily moved with our hands. It was mediocre. Food was seasoned well, and this could've been a wonderful experience!! We were not asked if we'd like another beverage, or dessert. We were not given a reason to sit and enjoy our time, or spend another dollar, like we had planned and hoped to. Our tabs were paid, and no one was at the host stand to say goodbye when we exited. Underwhelming, and unfortunate — it was all of our first times there. We were celebrating a friend who left feeling disheartened.
