Metropolis Hotel Eau Claire

We enjoyed our stay overall. Prices were reasonable and they gave us a few coupons. We had a few minor complaints. The water park was a little smaller than we expected and the water and air Temperature were colder than expected. My 2 year old was shivering and had to come out multiple times to warm up. The room was clean, however the air filter probably needs to be cleaned as we all suffered with stuffy noses after just one night.

Still waiting for extra hooks, shelves and places for everyone's stuff in 2025 is frustrating. We had a party of 9 in the large 1-12 person hotel room, attached to a water park and arcade, and there was one bar in the bathroom for towels?
Otherwise the room was a great size, clean and comfortable for all. We had fun in the water park and all went smoothly with check in/out and everything in-between.

Brought the kids on a quick trip thinking there would be things for them to do. NOPE! Everything was closed the entire time we stayed here. Not worth the money spent and not worth our drive. Will not come back again.

I loved our stay here. The place is really clean and modern, the games and go carts were fun and reasonably priced, and the on site restaurant had good food and service. There is even a DQ and Caribou Coffee on site. Great value and good family fun. We’ll be back.

we had a birthday party scheduled and due to an incident the night before, the splash play area was closed. The manager was very kind and called right away in the morning to let us know and went above and beyond to still make sure the kids had a blast! Thank you for your great customer service and hospitality 🥰

Awesome place to bring kids to swim and burn off a ton of energy. Nice Waterpark on one end and an arcade with indoor electric go-karts and a huge indoor trampoline park. We have been here multiple times and will continue coming.

Rooms: The rooms we get are your basic rooms. Two beds, microwave, mini fridge,TV, etc. They are very clean and well maintained.

Nearby activities: There is a red Robin less than a mile away we always eat at.

Food and drinks: They have a restaurant between the hotel and the arcade. They also have pizza, nachos, at the arcade

Noteworthy details: Great place for the family to go to.

Love this hotel and all the family fun!

Bad customer service for deaf person. They don’t even try to communicate with me and just grab my phone from me instead of writing paper down. They ask other person to help me instead of let me to communicate. They could have do paper and pen to communicate with me. I don’t feel comfortable to pay for items without have the ability to ask questions after worker talk to other person without include me and I feel disrespectful and discrimination by them. I would not recommend anyone who have different way to communicate accessible.

Nice rooms, nice beds, jail pillows

I went today with my 6 and 8 year old. We did the 3 hour jump and play. There were only a dozen games that the kids could play on the play pass! Most of them were racing games. I thought that was a rip off. Also we were told we couldn't ride the go karts with open toed shoes, yet the people before us got to ride with sandals. We also were allowed to ride the bumper cars once with sandals and when we wanted to ride again, a different staff told us we couldn't because we needed closed toed shoes...

Had a birthday party in one of the rooms next to the pool. Very hot in that room and they gave our pizzas to a different party.

I've only been here for a work conference, and it was a very nice meeting facility that we were able to work in. Highly recommend, and there's a lot to do around when you're done with business!

Great place for indoor activities for kids and adults. Action City was fun. Outdoor go karts and mini golf there was also great! Indoor water park was fun and a great way to keep kids busy.

We had a fantastic time here! Traveled with an 8 and 5 year old, they loved the waterpark. It was the perfect size. The water temperature is very warm! The room was clean, beds comfortable, had a mini fridge and microwave. What really made this visit was the staff, the lifeguard/waterpark team was attentive, kind, helpful, and set the mood for a safe family atmosphere. They went above and beyond to watch my children and include them in activities. It’s the first waterpark we’ve been to where I felt like I could relax and know my children were totally safe.
