Came here with my husband and brother in law. We couldn't decide on what we wanted because we were being asked what we wanted every 10 seconds. Employees wanted to get us out the door so they could continue chatting. We were the only people who were waiting to order, so we weren't holding up a line. I felt pressured to order something quick and didn't even get to look at all of the options. My brother in law and I each ordered double scoops in a waffle cone. We compared them side by side. His was HEAPING over the top of the cone, while mine barely went past the top. Another review mentions this inconsistency as well. The owner responded with "While we're confident your next order will be perfect, please don't hesitate to let us know right away if something isn't, and we'll be happy to do our best to help.". This is funny, because when I brought the issue up to the employees, they brushed me off and said I had extra ice cream "packed into my cone". I've decided I won't interrupt the teen employees' chatting time anymore. I'll visit the much more friendly staff at Olson's a quick walk away. ??

Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream and freshly pressed handmade cones, they had fun seasonal flavors. Friendly staff and an old-fashioned shop atmosphere. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in Eau Claire!
