Sammy's Pizza Restaurant & Pub

It was our first time at Sammy’s. Hubby and I wanted something quick and simple and affordable. I had always wanted to stop for the salad buffet. We ordered the lunch special which is the personal pizza and salad bar. The salad bar was good but if I had my way, I wish it had greens and not shredded iceberg. I’d pay a dollar or two more for that. 😂 But it was still good and fresh. The waitress was SUUUUPPPEERR friendly. I asked her recommendation for pizza and she said the primo which is what I ordered. It did not disappoint! What I noticed immediately that it was REAL sausage chunks. Not the cheap pellets you sometimes see. Also I saw that there was sausage evenly distributed to ensure you get a piece of meat at every bite. Most places don’t do that and it drives me nuts. The crust was thin and crunchy which I loved. There was a good sauce to cheese ratio. If you want something affordable, stop at this great mom n pop restaurant. They even have take home frozen pizzas. No cardboard pizzas here. We will be regular customers when we crave pizza. Yumm!

The staff is amazing and she is most helpful. I enjoy the express lunch, which comes with your own personal one topping pizza and Sammy's delicious all you may eat salad bar.

It’s been awhile since my wife and have esten here so we ate a lot early dinner here today, my wife had a 2
Chicken with the salad bar and I had the 2 chicken dinner with garlic bread jojo’s and coleslaw , the breasted chicken was really good, my wife loved the salad bar our server checked on us often and she was really a nice person, I definitely know where I am getting roasted chicken in the future

This was possibly the worst pizza I have ever had. It was thin, toppings were few and we were so disappointed. We spent $26 (w/o tip) on a medium supreme. Had it delivered at our hotel on our way through the city on a Thursday. The delivery was efficient & the best thing I can say is it was warm.

Nice Italian themed paintings on the walls for a good atmosphere. Service was very good and as always the pizza was excellent
