Food was good. I really really really hate the robot. Hire humans
Decent enough place offering Chinese and Japanese food including sushi. I stopped in for a quick lunch and settled on the Homestyle Tofu. It was described as tofu with carrots, broccoli and napa cabbage in a sweet and savory sauce. Overall I liked it, but I would have preferred more veggies. It also came with a small bun type thing.
The lunch came with a choice of soup. I settled on the Hot and Sour. It unfortunately had a tinny taste, likely from the canned bamboo shoots and water chestnuts they used.
Overall, the meal came to less than $10 and I felt it was decent value for the price, I definitely would return next time I am in town.
Called at 7:05 to order sushi and was told they weren’t sure if they could fulfill my order because they were busy. They decided they would take my order after asking someone if they could but this wasn’t the first time I got an excuse for not being able to order so I’m already frustrated at this point. The person on the phone explains it’ll be a 45 minute wait almost like that would deter me from ordering. The sushi was fine but what really set me off was the two items I ordered which were suppose to be hot food, was cold when I got it home. I showed up 50 minutes after ordering. You’re telling me you almost didn’t take my order because you were so busy but had my food ready and sitting for so long that it was cold when I picked it up? Ridiculous. It’s hard enough ordering take out from this place because the manager guy who answers the phone most of the time is so rigid and lacks people skills. It’s a customer service industry, figure it out.
This place has all the Asian cuisines. Had doubts at first. We had a party of 8. They did charge additional which I am ok. Food price was not bad cheaper than I expected. We order from the Asian menu. Did not do sushi or Vietnamese pho.
All were stir fry. Kungpou chicken was good, crispy duck was not crispy but the taste was god, mapo tofu was good, the most expensive was a scallop dish and seafood. Tasted good too.
Staffs and atmosphere were good too. It got busy quick by 1145am.
Very disappointing lunch. Cold soup. Cold water for tea. Cold entree. Service was very...very...very... Slow. Waited 15 minutes for server to appear and another 20 for food. Even robot servers couldn't help.

Great food. Great staff. They have added Korean menu which is delicious. I had a dish with sweet potato noodles that had Kim chi and other pickled veggies, awesome! They also have signature cocktails which are awesome and reasonable for the quality! We are so lucky to have this place in Eau Claire!
Vegetarian options: Can add tofu to entrees. They have veggie sushi rolls.

I ordered the Spicy Rainbow roll and the Monkey cocktail, I forget the exact name. The cocktail was a little sweet but okay. Unfortunately the roll was also just okay.
The spicy tuna could have had more flavor and didn't taste substantially different from cheaper venues. But everything was fresh and I did enjoy it.
The staff as always was super friendly, very helpful, but maybe a bit too busy. It took some time to get the attention we needed. The robot servers are a giggle! I love tech so I mean that in a good way.
I have eaten here before and have always enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, but for a Saturday night the food was hit or miss and service could have been stronger. About $26 out the door, not too bad!
Like my other experiences here I rate it slightly above average but not extraordinary. Will be back to try something different. I saw a sashimi plate go by on the robo that looked amazing!

I had read good reviews about Shanghai bistro and that they had a gluten-free menu. Both my friend who is not gluten-free and myself who is thought her food was rather bland. I had ordered Beef with broccoli and received chicken with Broccoli. Are the waiter never came back to check until we were done eating otherwise I probably would have sent it back. And like I said it was bland but so is my friends who ordered beef lo mein. I personally would not go back here.

I had the Ambrosia and a tuna roll, sadly the tuna wasn't firm and the roll was small. The flaming Ambrosia looked awesome, kind of a sweert and sour with chicken, shrimp and pork belly. Sadly the alcohol burned too long and burned the breading. Waitress asked how it was I said ok but these burnt pieces make the whole thing taste burnt. She said sorry. Once I got closer to the middle everything tasted burnt. She stopped by again and asked how it was, I told her, she said sorry and dropped off the bill. The rest of the food looked good. Just steer clear of the cheaper sushi and that Ambrosia dish

The premium rolls like Dragon, eel are tops. Sashimi presentation was a wow. Tofu is great too. Staff was very knowledgeable about Asian cuisine and served up good advice.

I was really impressed with this place. We were greeted immediately. They have a wide variety of vegetarian menu items. Portion sizes were big. I will definitely be coming back.

We were here a week ago, roof was leaking straight on the floor. They put up a wet floor sign but nothing to catch the water so just a big puddle? We arrived and waited to be seated, took about 10 minutes. It was a slow night only about three tables were occupied. The man who sat us was also our server. The waiter was chaotic, strange, and honestly made me uncomfortable. There were three tables that were dirty when we sat down and they were never cleared the entire hour we were there. One of staff was seating another couple that wanted to sit outside the bartender guy w a ponytail yelled across the restaurant “no no no we’re not sitting them outside it’s too wet. I already told you this”. We were given our appetizer from a girl who wasn’t a server probably kitchen staff seeing as she came out with an air pod in. Asked for chopsticks twice finally received after we had our ramen for 10 minutes. Ramen is very mid; not a lot of flavor, heaps of corn, only one half of the egg (might be the normal), room temperature as well. Shrimp tempura roll was the best I’ve had in town tho! Idk for the prices you pay you would think they would put effort into the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Everything felt sticky, humid, and run down. I never make negative posts because I don’t think they’re necessary but I could not recommend you enough to order to go or just skip this one. Seeing all the other negative comments also solidified this place has been in the dumps for a while and the owners don’t seem to care

We stopped for takeout due to their many gluten free offerings. The sushi was good and the sweet and sour chicken was delicious!
