Great food and great service
Wait staff was excellent. Was with 4 other people and everyone loved the apps and main dishes.
Have been to The District many times, never disappointed! The team members are very friendly and helpful. Great food and speedy service even when busy. As a black olive lover, I asked for extra black olives on my chicken nachos…it came with a huge pile on top, not a little side dish! I was overjoyed! 😊
Went there for their fish fry and won't be back. First, it's haddock, not cod. Clearly they're trying to be cute but the fish is awfully dry for being deep fried. And they only give you one piece and it's $4 for an extra. But they don't give you any more tartar sauce if you do, but they'll charge you $.75 if you ask for more.
Speaking of that, a watered down rum and coke was $6.75 and a Spotted Cow was $9.50. If I'm paying that much, it shouldn't be over 80 degrees inside. When we left it was 85 degrees outside and it felt refreshing after being in there.
I will say their brussel sprouts were absolutely decadent, and they didn't charge extra for those instead of French fries. Those are the only reason it isn't one star.
Would not recommend and will not be back.
Was recommended to stop by from a local.
One of the best lunch spots I’ve been to!Incredible burger. Great wings. The server was personable and friendly.
Highly recommend.
In downtown Eau Claire on a Monday and we were looking for a place for lunch— neither my partner nor I had ever been to The District but decided to give them a try.
We were greeted and seated quickly and our server Michael was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was fine— quiet enough for a conversation (we were the only ones seated downstairs) but nothing to get excited over. They did also have the air on as it was very hot out and the temp inside was comfortable.
It was a pleasant surprise to see a lunch menu! I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and my partner chose the BBQ Korean tacos with tofu. We also decided to share onion rings as our side as the menu said they were the best in town and I’m a lover of good onion rings.
Our food was delivered in a timely manner and it was hot. I was a bit surprised when my chicken sandwich came to see that it was a slider— I did not remember seeing it written that way on the menu. Nonetheless, it was a pretty good sandwich. It had spice to it but I wouldn’t say it was hot. The pickles and slaw balanced the flavors.
My partner thought his tacos were okay— he would have liked more crisp uses on his tofu and he thought the flavors were not particularly interesting.
I had high hopes for the onion rings that were voted best in town, but we were disappointed. I will say that the onion rings were generously sized but the batter was lacking flavor (salt needed!!) and were quite greasy.
Our experience at The District was okay and we will probably give them another chance at some point, but the food was just that for us— okay.
Burgers were dry, the side order of fries was very small and soggy. And I was overcharged. This was take out and with the receipt it didn’t have the charges for each order, just the total amount which was about $12 more than we calculated. First and last time i order from there.
Absolutely amazing! Staff and food! Highly recommend!

Service was fine at the start but after about half way through our meals, seemed our waitress just disappeared which left us just sitting at the table waiting for our bill. A different waitress noticed and was nice enough to understand the situation but by that time our waitress came back. Couldn't hear her reason for absencedue to the place being loud. Food was good.

I was previously a dishwasher here. The food is awesome and the cooks and serving staff really know what there doing to make your experience amazing. I will admit the drink prices are kinda up there but it's worth it. The food price is really good because the portion size is like the size of Jupiter.
Kid-friendliness: Occasionally there is someone drunk at the bar but it's to be expected sometimes...its a bar/grill
