The food was amazing and service was exceptional, the card reader was not able to take my card and one of the servers offered to pay my bill. Literally the sweetest person ever and everyone is so lovely. The food was also amazing and unique. Would totally recomend. Lastly thank you to Jack for being so kind as to cover my bill you are such a kind human being, much love. :)<3

After trying a few times to get in but being deterred by long lines we finally got a table at the Nucleus. It was rather good, however, it was also quite expensive. I had a smoked salmon sandwich and that was $13 and the coffee had a charge on refills. The place was very nice overall, however, I was not impressed with the food I was served for the price I paid.

Service is always great, food is always stellar and I always get a kick out of how spacious the interior is despite how tiny the place looks when you see it from the road.

Great for family's and people who don't particularly like meat may only complain? The wait time. But I get it the food delish!!

Great local spot in the downtown district. Great service with a unique coffee-shop/diner atmosphere. Great breakfast food options at a reasonable price. The only issue we found was that it is a local favorite so you may have to wait a while to be seated, but well worth the wait!

Amazing food, good drinks, great service. Stopped in on way up to Duluth, highly recommend for a breakfast/brunch spot.

I've been here multiple times over the years, but a recent visit had given me reason to not recommend it despite every other experience being pretty good. The food is absolutely fantastic, the coffee and drinks are perfect. The hostess was fantastic and very friendly! That's not where my issue lies. I was aware of a wait for a table and food (the original wait for a table wasn't bad at all), but what I was not aware of was how other tables who had been seated after I had been waiting for awhile would be served more quickly. I was not asked, and there was a distinct difference in attitude and demeanor with the server compared to other tables. After waiting without being approached, I decided to just pay for my drink and leave. I had brought up the concern and it was swept under the rug as if it wasn't a problem.

Let me first start off by stating I do not normally write 5 star reviews. That being said, I rate the customer service, food, and atmosphere 5 stars! I looked up "breakfast near me" on my husband, and my weekend get away trip to EauClaire Wisconsin. I do not like most breakfast spots because alot of them have mediocre coffee, or mediocre food. Upon arrival I saw lovely art on the walls, and felt very welcomed. The staff was very welcoming, and inviting. The coffee was great, and the atmosphere warm, and inviting. I decided to put the place to the real test, and we ordered crepes. I the lemon, my husband the strawberry. Crepes are very easy to over cook, and usually I regret ordering them. Lemon is very easy to make too sweet with no flavor of lemon, or too tart with too much lemon. These crepes were INCREDIBLE! I used to love crepes when I was a child, but since adulthood I have never been able to find a place to make them good. The lemon was a perfect blend of sweetness, and tart. The lemon was not overpowering. Instead I found it to be refreshing to the palate. Dare I say perfect! My husband loved the strawberry. The crepe had Nutella inside, and my chocoholic husband loved it. The staff all helped eachother out. (Which is RARE nowadays.) They excelled in teamwork. They seemed generally happy to be working there, and working TOGETHER. They were so upbeat, and made us want to stay longer. I NEVER rave about breakfast places, but please if you get a chance to go and enjoy. 10/10.

I was super excited to come in and try some vegan options however the doors were locked on a Thursday at 9:40am. I called to see if they were open and no one answered the phone. Wish I could rate service and everything. Looked nice on the inside but not sure of overall vibe.

My husband and I had breakfast here and it was absolutely amazing!! Our server, Connor, was perfect. I had the smoked salmon bagel sandwich with a side of hash browns and my husband had the Yeti skillet. My smoked salmon bagel was to die for! The hash browns were perfectly cooked. My husband really liked his skillet. My only complaint is that I live an hour away and can’t there often.

Great restaurant on water street. Our breakfast was very good and the service was excellent! We had to wait 30 minutes to get seated but it was worth the wait.
