If you’re looking for a fun evening in the Edgerton area I definitely recommend Lake House. Located in a rustic old hotel you will find great food and energetic waitstaff. Recommend reservations for Friday and Saturday’s and plan on arriving early to have a memorable old fashioned. Sunday weekly neat raffles are fun filled at starting at 3 pm.
The food here is fabulous, with virtually everything made fresh in-house. Let's start with the raspberry vinaigrette...absolutely delicious, and made the salad a highlight of the meal. We were there on a Friday and had the fish fry: large walleye fillet lightly battened and fried to perfection. The loaded potatoes and red garlic were both delicious, as were the hush puppies we had for an appetizer. The drinks were mixed perfectly obviously using excellent ingredients--cheers...
I have loved every visit to Lake House Inn. The ambiance is gorgeous - it is the definition of a “hidden gem”. The food is outstanding - I will keep coming back to try everything on the menu. Additionally, they have tons of fun events open to the public, plus a lovely boutique shop. Highly recommend a visit!
