We were looking forward to some ice cream and had never been here before. They do not give out samples, or so we were told so I did not try the Mackinac Island fudge. The employees were short tempered and we each had a root beer float. The ice cream that was in our root beer floats was crystallized and clearly quite old.
The picnic tables outside were absolutely filthy. We will never come back.
One scoop is more than enough for one person. Excellent shop, excellent people, fantastic ice cream.

The ice cream was fine, but the older lady that was working there today was very rude to my elderly aunt. She was oddly impatient and when I told her she was being very rude, she rolled her eyes and sarcastically said she was sorry she’s so rude. It was unfortunate. Everyone else in Door Co (including the young girl working at the same time at Grumpy’s ) was wonderful!
Icecream butterpecan was delicious I took

Grumpys was amazing the workers were very nice the only thing that was bad was that the 2 scoops was like 3 or 4 scoops but the ice cream was delicious the seating area was amazing to there fudge is absolutely amazing definitely will be coming back here
Good ice cream, but no samples. Not a problem with known flavors. You take a chance with the unknown. Place was clean and staff was friendly.
No other way to say it, its really good popcorn. Went in for a root beer and was offered a sample. Needless to say I walked out with both in hand.
Absolute best customer service business yet! The owner waited on us 30 minutes before opening and when he found out this was our first trip here, brought us a map and pointed out different places! Love it!
There are lots of sweet treats offered here, plus samples of their kettle corn! The ice cream is very good, thank you. It may be hard to find a parking spot on the road out front, but if you don't mind walking a bit, there is a public parking lot across the road in a side street.
