My wife got me the honey barrel whiskey for Christmas and it tastes like moldy corn husks. How this passed inspection is beyond me. This has to be a bad batch…

One of our regular stops. Hatch makes great spirits and their drinks are really good. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. The prices are on the high side, but worth it to support local.

Drinks are good. Service needs a little work. Bartender seemed offended when I asked for a splash of soda cause my drink was a little strong, actually told me I ordered the wrong drink even after I said im not typically a bourbon person. We asked several times if they would check to see if they had more sizes in a sweatshirt we wanted to buy but they ignored our requests 2 times and it was very slow so not sure why we wereignored. Sale missed.

We always stop by Hatch whenever we visit DC. The outdoor patio is a fantastic space to hangout, enjoy a cocktail, try some spirits or wine, and just relax. We are particularly fond of the honey barrel bourbon and always pick up a bottle. The new mead and wine options are very unique and fun to try, though some are a little bit different than what I'm used to, it's part of the fun!
