Great food, wonderful owners, and sometimes lucky enough to relax listening to music on the lawn while eating. The bread is scrumptious! We bring home many loaves and also love the soup and chicken salad sandwiche and veggie sandwich. Friendly, clean, delicious, fun! We stop in as often as we can! Certainly a favorite place for us in Door County!

Do yourself a favor and try this place! I am NOT a scone fan but when I saw these I was like ‘ ok they look good let’s give them a try’ one bite in and we both instantly said ‘ we need to go back for more’! The scones are perfect balance of dry and wet to the cherries. They taste like the joy and love they were made from! Seriously, if Jenny can turn me into a scone lover, it can happen to you too! We also had grilled cheese and ham sandwiches for breakfast. They were fantastic! We bought a loaf of their French bread and while it doesn’t have that firm crust most people expect it IS delicious! The springiness of the bread and just the right amount of chewiness. I haven’t tried toasting it yet but I can imagine it will be just as tantalizing on the tongue. We did stop back the same day and got 2 more scones. We got into the best conversation with Jenny and Sue and told Jenny we needed cherry to take home to our daughter and she said she would make us another flavor asked what we like and we said surprise us. She made Raspberry and it was equally delicious. We also got a loaf of cranberry raisin bread, and it was one of those moments where you wanted to zip yourself into a bubble. Absolutely divine. My daughters exact words were (it’s slap ya mama good, figuratively 😆)
If you’re in Door County for a few days go every day and try something new. She switches items daily and you will NOT be disappointed! This is now going to be one of our MUST stops when we come to Door County! Thanks Jenny and Sue! We’re friends now! Looking forward to next year and trying more of your creative and scrumptious delights!

Hands down the best bread I’ve ever eaten! The other baked goods are phenomenal as well! The staff is always friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to visit again!

Don't Ask Any Questions!!!! Just Order!!! Stopped by for a sandwich after shopping at some galleries. Since this was our first time here we asked where the sandwich menu was. An associate pointed and barked at the chalkboard sign. Next I asked what size the Italian was. She said "Uh it's a sandwich; it's the size of the bread.". We then ordered a couple items, but their card machine didn't work. They then asked if we had cash. We said no. They said "Sorry". No, I'm sorry.

We had sandwiches 3 times all within a day apart and each day they were great. The bread is super fresh and soft and tastes great! We had some of the cookies also. The chocolate chip and ginger cookies were definitely homemade and tasted delicious! The owners are very friendly and the place has a friendly atmosphere. There is some indoor and outdoor seating as well. My only suggestion would be to change out the potato chip selection to something more organic and offer some other meat selections like roast beef, etc.

The bread is amazing!!! They have really great sandwiches and soup. All the bakery items are so yummy too. We had a big cinnamon roll and coffee cake. This place is a little piece of bakery heaven in door county. You must go here!! Everyone that works here is so nice and friendly! We will be stopping here every time we are in door county now.
