Waited quite a while before getting water or a hello. No bread ever brought to table? Maybe that is standard there. Ordered 3 small plates. Waitress brought 1 that was not ours so we stopped her before she sat it down. 15 minutes later they brought 3 that were not ours and sat them down. Asked our waitress and these were someone else’s, she picked them up and took them to the other table? Finally ours came, but only 2. No one came to check so we asked for our check, told them to forget the shrimp and left. Paid full bill as no one seemed that any of this was an issue.

Am just hearing of parador now, it’s a shame they will be closing. Made a reservation to try Parador out, was happily greeted and seated.Nice Selection of tapas dishes, all of the plates tried were good! The dates were a bit too sweet for my liking, but that is minor.Tried a sangria and glass of wine. Sangria was so/so but again, that’s more personal preference.Thank you all for the fantastic service.

Spectacular! We were so busy enjoying our small plates that we forgot to take more photos. Spanish Ribs and the pork sliders are top notch!

I was recently at Parador for a Friday dinner when in Door County. I made a 6:00 reservation, as this is another one of many restaurants that has a tendency to get busy and require long waits without a reservation. I was almost late because I couldn't find a parking spot. The restaurant's parking lot is very small, and it was entirely filled, so I needed to find parking along the street. Anyway, I did make it with just minutes to spare, and the hostess was friendly and showed me to a quiet table. The waiter was very nice, but he seemed new and nervous/unsure. The sangria was very good here, and I enjoyed a couple glasses of red sangria with dinner. I started with just bread service and the garlic shrimp, and all of that was very good, but it was small enough portions that I was still hungry. The waiter was very attentive during the first half of the meal, and the service was fast for how busy the place was. I asked to see a menu again when I realized that I didn't order enough food, and the cheese plate sounded good, so I put in that order. The waiter figured it would be out in 5-10 minutes (after all, how long does it take to put together a cheese plate?). I finally got it 35 minutes later! I was getting very irritated, and I almost wondered if they lost the order. By that point, I almost didn't even feel hungry anymore. I felt that being at the table for almost 2 hours was way too long for dinner, and I badly wanted to get out of there by later. The waiter became very slow and more concerned with a table of 8 or 10 that he had in another part of the room. I have mixed feelings on Parador, but the food was all very good. I heard that this will be their last season, so you need to get here now if you wish to eat here!

Fantastic food but our server Graham made the experience a true delight. He had excellent recommendations and treated us like old friends. I cannot recommend Parador enough.

Everything we had was very tasty, the croquetas tasted like my Spanish grandmother used to make, the cauliflower was the best, and the spiced chocolate with the churros made you feel like you were in Spain.

From the old screen door at the front, to the disorganized collection of hosts checking you in, to the waitress who seemed not very engaged, to the mediocre food, this was not much of a restaurant. We ordered olives and bread (which tasted like it was made from store-bought frozen bread dough), patatas bravas (leathery potato chunks swimming in sauce), ham-wrapped cheese skewers (forgettable), giant meatball (as good as it sounds), and flat breads with manchego, honey, and salt (the best thing we had—quite good, really). All of it was edible but not very good. This restaurant bills itself as serving tapas and sangria. We didn’t try the sangria. Perhaps that was our mistake.

This was our first time here. The food and service was exceptional. The dishes are served in small portions which are perfect for sharing. Ordering several dishes give you an opportunity to enjoy a culinary delight. The staff was friendly, attentive and extremely polite.

Excellent wine and food! Fav are the sliders and cauliflower that we tried. Loved the Spanish olive oil and herb mix they used with every dish as well. In a cool old house too. Friendly staff and great service!

Very fun evening, wanted a nice place where we could dine outside for our anniversary. Easy to make a reservation online. Outside seating in front of the house-like restaurant, nice setting, can watch passersby on the sidewalk. Note that the seating does NOT have a view of the water, if that matters to you, but a nice atmosphere. We got bacon wrapped dates (great, although a little rich for 2 of us to eat all of them), bomba pork meatball (filling, delicious), lamb skewers (small but amazing), and miel coca (cheese flatbread with honey, really good). Would definitely dine here again if we’re in the area!

A must visit!! Outstanding service from Matt, incredible menu, large tapas for a small plate restaurant. Lots of options on the menu. The food here is cooked to perfection. The chef here is a rockstar! The service is incredible. This place is closing after the season so best get a reservation now.

Wife and I went twice while we stayed up here and tried different things on each visit. Get up here fast and try this place out before it's gone. I hear this is the last season they will be open due to the owners moving away.

Tasty small plate Spanish food. Tried 5 plates. Liked Jumbo Shrimp in garlic sauce and Tenderloin sliders the best. The bread on sliders was great as was the sauce on the side. Ordered Spanish olives hoping citrus marinade, herbs would offset saltiness, but not the case except on 2 larger ones. Also got a cubed potato dish and a Bomba (lg. pork meatball encased in potatoes. Both were good but potato dish was a bit spicy for me. We were there on a Thurs. night and the service was very good. Sorry to hear this was the restaurants last season. Would have liked to try some other items on future trip to Door County.

Tapas! Started with the beet salad, it came with greens which had a nice vinegar sprinkle along with some spices and sesame seeds -- not mixed in the vinegar, but actually sprinkled on top, tasty. Next the Jamon and cheese plate, with sausage too - tasty as expected but the corn nuts were a nice extra twist. The tomato cobbler (had peppers and onions as well) was incredibly good, the meatball in red pepper sauce (with a mashed potato crust) was also very good. Ribs, with a paprika sauce, kinda sweet, but fork tender, also very good. Churros w/ chocolate sauce. The sauce was unnecessary. The churros were fresh and tasty by themselves, then we ate the chocolate with a spoon. It had some spices, a little bit of heat (back of the throat). Our only real complaint is that the waiter insisted we had too much food and also really wanted us to order all at once. (Which is not really Tapas style). He was wrong on the too much food, really could have used another dish, but knew he didn't want us to order more so they lost an additional sale, and we went away a little bit hungry. If we had cut back to only 4 dishes, as he wanted, we would have insisted on ordering more, despite their preference. But we had had enough to survive. They had a good Spanish wine list, lots of local beers. Interestingly, we were there a couple minutes early, yet we were told they just gave away our table, so they'd have to give us someone else's table. Probably not something you should tell guests, and you really shouldn't give away tables like this anyway, right? At least not till they are 10-15 min late.
