Absolutely excellent Sunday brunch buffet --salad bar, breakfast and lunch foods plus a dessert station. The restaurant is run by a wonderful, kind, and hard working family who were extremely hospitable. Dining area is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend this restaurant for an excellent meal in Door County.
The staff is always very hard-working and friendly. This is a family owned business. We always love stopping in on our way up the peninsula.

Celiac and gluten allergen friendly! We stopped on a trolley tour and to our suprise there was a gluten/vegan option. The sandwich came out contaminated but they went above and beyond to bring out a new one prepared seperately! We couldn't have had a more pleasant experience! Thanks log den for enabling us to eat together! *the rueben is also amazing if you can have it!

Best meal I've had in a long time, if ever! The fresh salad bar stocked with homemade dressings and soups was just the beginning. Our entrees did not disappoint. I had the filet, which was extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful. My husband had the walleye, which he was very pleased with. Our service was friendly and attentive, andnthe sceren setting nestled in the woods makes this place a nitch anove the rest. Would definitely return here on my next trip to Door County.

Mary is an excellent bartender- great old fashioned & vodka martini! My wife had the filet & I had ribs. One of the best filets she has ever had! Seasoned perfectly & cooked just right. Ribs were fall off the bone tender! Decor is beautiful! This place is a gem! Would definitely recommend & will go back - and bring friends?

Group of 5 all ordered something different for lunch we had soup which was served room temp asked to have reheated tasted very old not fresh, chicken Alfredo had a very bad taste could not even eat it the cheese had an aweful taste,cheese curds were over cooked extreme bad old oil taste ,burchetta was not made properly there was lettuce on it no basil with a worchestire taste to the drizzle just aweful, vegtable quesadilla was very greasy with hard asparagus inside vegetables were not fresh. The water was good had 2 pitchers....... The building itself is beautiful but lacking staff, cook knowledge not good way too high prices ....do not recommend at all not worth it

The service was horrible. One of the ladies was annoyed that we didn't have a reservation then she ignored us for the rest of the night. It took them 30 minutes to make a burger and the servers refused to check on us or bring us water. The food was okay, but definitely not worth the price. There are far nicer places to eat in Door County.
