Excellent food. Fresh and homemade. We had biscuits and gravy, a potato bowl, and the classic breakfast with eggs and pancakes with sausage and bacon. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed fast and friendly service! Highly recommend!!!!

This restaurant has perfectly cooked food and delicious, fresh baked goods! Especially loved the quiche, incredible carrot and raisin muffin; cherry pancakes; eggs and flavorful bacon. Courteous and quick service. Lots of whimsical stuff for sale placed all around the cafe. It’s a must-stop

I recently went there leading a women's tour group and the experience was wonderful. We had the coffee cakes to start with and they were excellent. The chicken salad was awesome. Staff was friendly and qucik and all the women really enjoyed it. I highly reccomend this location if you are in Egg Harbor and looking for a delicious and cozy lunch.

Awesome place for Breakfast. Server was extremely nice and on top of the order and all our needs/requests. Owner was there and was extremely caring and attentive. My Family of 5 order all different items and everything came out together, foot, fresh, to order and extremely well tasting. Established was clean and inviting. Loved the whole experience. Would definitely come back and also visit the other restaurant the owner has down the street for dinner, the next time we visit

The food was good but we didn’t receive a check (the server just stood there with the pos) and when we asked for separate checks we were told they don’t do that. What diner doesn’t do separate checks for two people?
A nice, warm welcome from the owner/manager. Very interesting and colorful interior decor. Get there early, busy and crowded by 10 am and really busy on weekends. Unfortunately, the food is quite mediocre... Reasonable price and portions... But while I enjoyed my French toast, the rest of the family didn't think much of their food. Recommend.

Very noisy. Quiche was greasy, French toast was ok, NOrleans potato bowl had little meat and little hollandaise sauce. Our waiter seemed uninterested, didn’t check on us until we were almost done, and didn’t offer coffee refills. We expected better.

Owned and operated by the same folks as Villaggios Steakhouse in Egg Harbor, Village Cafe upholds the same high standards. During our stay in Egg Harbor we visited a few time for breakfast and were very impressed with the food. If Eggs Benedict are your "thing" you must order one of the variations. We ordered the classic .... amazing smooth fluffy tasty sauce. The corned beef hash was almost all protein with two poached eggs. Their pecan coffee cake is famous and is definitely shareable or destined for a take-out container. If I can get past the breakfast menu I may even try something off the lunch menu next time.
