Straight Home Bar & Grill is off the beaten path and it’s in the basement of a building but this place has great food. Everyone there treated us like we were locals. Prices are right. My wife and I loved it.

We heard about this place via word of mouth from a friend so had high expectations. Visited for their Friday Night Fish Fry. This place is a basement bar, the lighting was unpleasant and loud. Odd ordering system at the counter. Was told we may have a 30-45 minute wait. We already came from a half a hour away and was very hungry , decided to stay. We played on our phones the whole time and had one soda each... Could see staff eating behind the counter, hand hygiene questionable. We kept on saying "its got to be worth the wait" literally zoning out when our name was called, a 40 minute wait time... Seating arrangement was horrible. Lack of seating..Felt like I was in the way. Children would linger near our table. garbages were overflowing. Nothing really special here unless you do not go out every Friday night. The fish was meh. No lemon and the tarter sauce tasted mostly of vinegar and cheap faux mayo.
