We had a great experience at Kick Ash! The staff was so friendly, the coffee was delicious…as was the gluten free cinnamon roll! We will visit again!
My husband and I visited Door County this past May — our fifth time up there — and FINALLY made it to Kick Ash… and oh my goodness, THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM! Yes, I’m that excited!
From the moment we walked in, we knew we had stumbled upon something special.
*Customer experience? Absolutely outstanding.
*Coffee? Delicious — rich, smooth, and exactly what you want to sip in a cozy cafe.
*Bakery? 100% gluten-free and completely drool-worthy. As someone who eats gluten-free, this was a total win!
*The shop? Filled with stellar merch — couldn’t leave without snagging a hoodie for my son!
We loved it so much that… we went FOUR times during our trip. Yes, really.
On our last day, we stopped by for road snacks and a goodbye coffee, and got to thank Carol Ash herself — the amazing owner behind it all. Her warmth and passion radiate throughout the entire space, and it’s clear why the cafe feels so special.
We’re heading back up in November for Thanksgiving, and I cannot wait to bring my son with us this time. Kick Ash will absolutely be one of our first stops!
Thank you Carol and the entire Kick Ash team — you’ve created something truly magical, and we are obsessed!

Kick Ash has great drip coffee, friendly service, and delicious gluten-free baked goods, all in a beautiful and inviting space. My husband and I are choosy about coffee and we really enjoyed the medium roast we got at Kick Ash. I'm gluten-free (not by choice) so any time I manage to get some good bakery, it's a special occasion, and Kick Ash's raspberry crumble bar was one of the best GF bakery items I've ever had. Their cookies looked fantastic, as well. Highly highly recommend if you are looking for a spot to sit, chat, and enjoy some good coffee.
It has beautiful seating areas inside and out
Fresh baked goods. Lots of gift items. Home made granola and plenty of coffee beans to choose from. They have hot coffee and beverages as well.
Came here with my parents and our three year old and was blown away. It’s beautiful inside and SMELLED AMAZING. Coffee was great, we are not following a gluten free diet but the GF muffin and scone we had were so delicious I wanted to come back for more. There is garden/art walk out back that was great for our kiddo once he was tired of sitting inside. Lots of cute/local things for sale if you are looking for a gift or souvenir, overall 100% worth a trip.
Excellent granola!

My sisters and I got to-go coffees and gluten free muffins. Coffee was excellent! The GF muffins were delicious also. GF can be dry and fall apart, but both options (cherry, pumpkin) were moist and held together.
It was fairly busy but lattes were done quickly.
The only negatives I could see were limited seating and the Door County prices on items for sale. The coffee was reasonably priced tho, in line with other coffee shops in the Green Bay area.
