I've never had a gluten free pizza crust as good as this. we ordered an Americano pizza. sausage, pepperoni and mushroom. paired with a beet and goat cheese salad. I highly recommend this restaurant. I love the Blue Bear too for lunch.
Very delicious meal and dessert! And definitely kid friendly! Will be back for sure ❤️
Incredible! We’ve visited several times, but last night the rigatoni blew us away. It has “Sunday Sauce” just like your little Italian grandma used to spend all day making. The owner came over and chatted with us (she’s wonderful) and her daughter was our server (she’s outstanding). We cannot WAIT to try La Piazza too!

Based on the reviews, Della Porta is a favorite restaurant in DC. The server Mary is great, attentive, and personable, taking time to explain drinks and the menu. She made very good recommendations, like the beet salad. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and authentic. Many gluten free options are a must. The eggplant Parmesan appetizer is gooey, cheesy, and delicious. The artichoke pesto with burrata cheese pizza is delicious, with the crust done to perfection. The gluten-free onion pizza Tre Cipote is divine, especially with truffle oil. The GF white fish in parchment paper was dry but favorable. The L’Americano was a disappointment, as the middle was soggy and doughy. The patio is good for drinks and food.
