Love this place. Phenomenal food and drinks. But please post if you are closed? We drove quite a ways to eat after raving about your food, but seen the sign on the door you were closed today 11/28/25.
This is the bar in the East End of Ellsworth, Wisconsin that many students of Ellsworth Senior High would visit at least once. I did decide not to order whiskey sours and become an alcoholic when I was just 18 years old which I will never forget.
I have been going to Common Man for years and it keeps getting better. The food is SO good and the menu is always fresh with great specials. If you are connoisseur of great cocktails, Mike is your guy! He is a magician/chemist/bartender extraordinaire plus he’s interesting, personable, and passionate about his craft. You’ll have a great time!
