“What an absolutely incredible dining experience! To have a place like this in our rural area is amazing. The first impression walking through the door was the cozy, romantic aesthetic, the jazz style music in the backyard, the aroma for the wood fired grill, the welcoming from the staff; the entire ambiance blew me away! No small detail was left out from the hand written reservation name plates to the folded fabric napkins. The cocktails, the appetizers, the main course meal…100 Stars is what this place deserves! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone I know!”

We had not even sat down and the first thing she asked was how can we help and don’t worry we will get you home…. We then found ourselves at an amazing meat raffle. What a fun time!!! “It's a nice place. They need more employees. They were really swamped when we came in, but the service was friendly and accommodating, the food was good. The wait time was a bit long, but again, they need at least one more front end employee for the amount of people that were there. One person cannot handle the amount of traffic coming through.”

“We ordered fish fry dinners to go on a Friday night. Not only was the service fast, but the meal was filling and very good. There was a great selection of fish, shrimp and sides. We tried an order of everything! It was delicious. Even our good friend, who was visiting from the Twin Cities, was impressed. If you're in the area and hankering for a good WI fish fry, stop in!”

“Super awesome workers here- we forgot a few items and they let us borrow some that they had in stock which was sooo helpful, brought wood to us, it was almost like having guest services since they patrolled our area often. We stayed in a 150s lot for tent camping and it was a short walk to the beach and bathrooms/showers, but worth it! We kayaked, swam, cooked out, had a fire… the usual… didn’t even think about extra events even jf they had some (I saw a comment about not enough events). The pond was nice, murky in some areas but to be expected and the rest was clean. Water area/pond was busy during the day but their inflatables and water activities were open until 8pm so we had plenty of “quiet time” and room to explore! Bathrooms were nice and large, a bit of sand never hurt anybody! The life jackets were worn and kind of smelly, but they were free! Bring your own if you’re worried about that! Also to add- it would be great if there were rope ladders or something to help the younger kiddos back on the inflatables if they get stuck/fall in… it would be nice to have a bit more safety features for the kiddos/families that arent super familiar with it. All in all. We will definitely be back, thank you Chapparal staff!!”
