I have been coming to this restaurant my entire life. My family has held countless events here, my grandparents live right down the road, and I have the unique perspective of having worked for both the previous owners, the Plattenbergs, and the current owner, Bill. To be clear, my time as an employee was over 15 years ago; I am writing this as a lifelong patron and neighbor who has watched this establishment decline firsthand over multiple decades.

The people are nice, friendly, prices reasonable, & the food has been good the 3 times we have visited. are there updates needed? yes. Are there things I would change? yes. should it be a bit cleaner in certain areas, sure, but the new owner has worked his butt off to make a go of it. everything comes along, in due time. want to help him make this an even better place? Super awesome workers here- we forgot a few items and they let us borrow some that they had in stock which was sooo helpful, brought wood to us, it was almost like having guest services since they patrolled our area often. We stayed in a 150s lot for tent camping and it was a short walk to the beach and bathrooms/showers, but worth it!
